Afzaal is personally a gem, but repairing old struts is useless, especially on a Honda. Have done that from Afzal a couple of times and they leaked the next week. Rinse, wash, repeat and the same thing happened again. Lesson is; always buy new struts, these things cannot be reconditioned outside a factory, at least not reliably.

By viewing positive remark for Abdul Hameed and son just 2 days back i get repaired my suspension from them. I have suzuki wagon R model 2019 km is 38000. first i inspect from suzuki south they told me car will be repaired with in 80k to 100k depend on work. but i went to abdul hameed and son they advised me repair with cost of 11k also with 1 year warranty. job was done with in 4 hour and result is perfect car is running smooth with sound. also i used xulfiqar bhai name

Everyone from PW uses Xulfigar's name when going to Afzaal. Also, 1 year for struts is nothing. New struts last more than that, 4-5 years. New OEM bushes/ball joints last 3+ years easy if taken care of. I cannot stress more on the importance of buying OEM new if you want your car to ride nice.

sir @supraman2jz the 3S dealerships quote insane price for such new items. open market prices vary with respect to origin of product without any surety of item genuineness.

mediocre class is left with no choice but to look around for people like afzaal saheb. it is 2+ years now my Indus Corolla suspension and steering was fixed by afzaal saheb only last year it had a steering seal leak. so far so good.

AoA Guys,

I just bought a Suzuki Swift 2011 model, got it checked before buying. Engine, body, and suspension are all in good condition except for a little noise on rough roads from the center beneath the body along with some humming noises from the front passenger side suspension. Today I took to Suzuki Mandviwala motors to checkup and repair costs, they identified the following issues

1) Suspension needs repair
2) Engine mount replacement
3) Brake pads replacement

They quoted me a priceRs. 400,000/- for genuine parts and Rs. 120,000 for without warranty parts which is quite high and insane as well.

Please suggest a good suspension mechanic in Gulshan-e-Iqbal near 13D/2.

Though its very late, but still dropping the name here for engine related work. Its Saqib Bhai (Imran Autos) , his shop not too far from Bashir Autos (Ac walay). Expert guy and doesnt charge extra. Infact Shakeel (from Bashir Autos) introduced me to him.

@capsat got my Cultus '15 model's Lower Arm('Chimta' or 'gooda' ) replaced with 'Kabuli' one and driving is smoother now.
