Suggest me some good SQ subwoofers

somehow i keep finding myself thinking of getting type s just based on the looks. it LOOKS like a SQ sub (but then what DO sq subs look like). CV looks like a brute and that somehow shows that its meant for spl. but considering u ppl's suggestions.. i would go for one of the following

JL12w6 or JL13w6
Type E 1243
JBL GTO 1202d
CV Vmaxx

now i need the prices and availability of these woofers..

as no one has used it.. its higher in series than type e,
check videos, the built quality, looks and everything, i dont have video other wise
i would have shown u , if still u want to go buy from above only JL from my side

Visit pioneer electronic in azhar shaheed market.shop owner is khuram..He had a pair of 13w6 and also has a JBL GTI 15" used....One of my friend was selling type X also slightly used will update u on that if ur intrested

If its about SQ"L" , CVs will top this list.
Even for SPL.
(Though lows of JBL GTO 1202Ds and GT5 12s would kill even CV Vmaxx or TypeR 12s at equal power, yes thts bitter truth).
Splfanatic told me about some American made CVs in a nice deal, if they r available, get them without a second thought bro.

Nah CV can beat Poineer D2 and other such range products at anytime... Mad House trust me CV are great SQL woofer. I am using them for a month or so but i really love their clean loud bass.. D2 are no match for CV...

dear all. one thing i have finalized is that the total rms of one or a pair of woofer will not go above 400-500. i think above that will disbalance the sound of the system and will go beyond sq and even sql.

why not buy a single sub...of around 400-500rms? save your boot space as well..

or try what splfanatic said...compact vented box. will surely give you tight response and will be loud as well. you clearly want loudness....

sir like i said. total rms should be no more than 500 watts rms. depending on sound quality i can get one or two to make up that power.

You cannot get a 12W6 even used in the budget else its best.

Try to find a Type X used in good condition.

Second comes the JBL P1224 and third JL Audio 12W3.

RF P3 D412 and Polk MM 1240 DVC are also equally good if you cannot find any of them.

A lot will be depending on your AMP, enclosure size, construction and its MDF.

sir i think that i should first decide on the woofer as the box and the amp i will get accordingly. like i said max power i m looking for is 500 watts and i have a good mind to get kenwood 8104 or sound magus to run the woofer/woofers. you have made some nice suggestions. i will keep them in mind. the main issue however remains the availability...

you can even try JBL P1222 , cause it can be tuned to 20hz box tunning frequency

can even play 18hz notes easily
