Suggestion about HID for city 2011

That's cool then, but keep in mind, your vision won't be very good and you may notice that the light intensity has decreased along with the fact that you wont have a good cutoff, better stick to Halogens then

im a lil confused, ill suffer this issue if i convert to these projectors? (i intend to put some chrome inside the light for looks and change its glass to clear one. The projector will be doing the technical stuff)

The problem is that these projectors are Halogen Projectors which are made for Halogen bulbs and not HID, these aren't HID Projectors, so if you wish to use HID in those, then it's useless, but if you're willing to use Halogen Bulbs in it, then it's fine

Oh and a bit of advice, get a used pair of headlamps and retrofit in those instead of ruining the original ones

HID projectors are available in KHI n they have exellent results..dont knw abt other cities but they r worth buying...

I'll say keep the colour temperature between 4300-5000k for good visibility, anything above that is more or less a waste of money, 4300k is the factory color, they're the brightest among all and they're closest to the combination of sunlight you can get (I say this because the human eye views best in sunlight).

pardon me but hids are a menace. do you really need them for a wow effect i mean comon arent the stock lights good enough?

It may look good to some people, true. BUT I'll totally disagree that 6000-8000k give better visibility. Remember, the higher the color temperature, the lower the visibility, it's a fact understood worldwide .

forget abt numbers,,jst go for DIAMOND WHITE color..
it will give a hot look n visibility too

another very clear difference in hid and halogen projectors is that the reflector bowl on halogen projectors is in circular shape while in HID ones its in oval shape

Salam , Guys I need some help.... as i am looking for a HID BALLAST ... i need someone whose is selling this, i want the cheapest one and without the tube. because i gonna use the ballast in our Physics project.. the original instrument for this experiment is very expensive. the alternate is this ballast. (it will work as the instrument works after a littler modification).... please brother help me ! waiting for ur reply !

^ not a big issue. you can get ballasts seprately at auto electric shop which sell hids
