Thanks for your concern. Bro, I am buying a brand new, UK imported generator and investing such money only for the piece of mind. Sure, I have surveyed in depth the pros and cons, services, parts etc. A new Lister Petter won't bother me for the next say 20 years. All I have to do is change oil (easily available) and oil filter (easily available) and maintain its battery water level. All this is a DIY and I love to do DIY's
Parts and service both are readily and easily available at least here in the twin cities.
Lister petter engines are known worldwide for ultimate reliability and specifically for high fuel efficiency. I will make a new thread in sh a Allah and will post link here about the installation, maintainance and fuel consumption with pictures on PW.
