Its 15kva bro. 4 to 5 lacs is a joke for a generator of such state of the art engines/technology and brand.

bro Lister Petter ka 950k ka genset laine k baad kya us k parts locally available hain ?
perkins aor cummins k parts milty hain but bohat expensive hain..i will suggest solar panels and i am using since last 2 years
i deal in rental generators i have 18,31,37 kva gensets

Thanks for your concern. Bro, I am buying a brand new, UK imported generator and investing such money only for the piece of mind. Sure, I have surveyed in depth the pros and cons, services, parts etc. A new Lister Petter won't bother me for the next say 20 years. All I have to do is change oil (easily available) and oil filter (easily available) and maintain its battery water level. All this is a DIY and I love to do DIY's Parts and service both are readily and easily available at least here in the twin cities.

Lister petter engines are known worldwide for ultimate reliability and specifically for high fuel efficiency. I will make a new thread in sh a Allah and will post link here about the installation, maintainance and fuel consumption with pictures on PW.

Pana Communications INC is the sole authorized distributor of lister Petter generators, engines and pumps etc in Pakistan. I have checked all their agreements, distribution and UK embassy letter etc. Lister Petter UK website also designates Pana Communications as their sole agent in Pakistan for sales and service of Lister Petter products. I am really impressed with their friendly attitude and prompt response against my all queries.

In a few days, I'll make a new thread (will paste link here) which will hopefully wind up my final conclusion for the decision I have taken and the amount of money I have invested in. Also plan to post a detailed photographic session of the whole installation procedure for your pleasure On the same thread.
I am really thankful to @ skill for forwarding me to the right person. Am thankful to Mr. Babar (don't know if he's on PW) for his kind and humble advice and taking pain to talk to people regarding my queries and purchase.

Now anxiously waiting to take some shots
