Suggestion for car under 23 lac

AoA !!

I am planning to buy an automatic car for my family to be daily driven in Lahore (should be hassle for 6/7 years).
I am confused between 1.3 A/T and 1.5 A/T Honda city. Which models can i get in this budget (23 lacs) and which one will be better considering fuel economy? What would be the safe mileage to look for 30k/40k ?
I am also thinking to go with JDM under 20 lacs but also confused that should i get them if there import will never open again?
Can anyone please suggest me few options under within my budget ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

1.3 At is underpowered. 1.5 At is better.

For general family use. 1.3 is sufficient. U can consider yaris 1.3 if you want some change

1.5 AT will give slightly better fuel efficiency. 1.3 AT won't. Still, I would suggest to raise your budget and go for brand new 1.3L Yaris CVT instead. Complete peace of mind for years to come. Current gen. City has passed its prime IMO.

You will not get any good condition 1.3L / 1.5L good condition JDM Sedan in this budget. You will have to settle for 1000 cc hatchback in this budget, but switching from Sedan to hatchback, not recommended.

Imports are still open, one way or the other, but procedure is expensive, and prices have gone too high. USD is touching somewhere 165-170 PKR. From here, you can get the idea.

You can also look for Suzuki Ciaz, if not Yaris. You can get a very good deal for Ciaz, as its resale is low. Good car, better build quality than Honda City, CBU unit, good fuel efficiency, much better than City, etc.

Thank you so much for the detailed answer. My initial budget was 20 lacs but i am pushing it to 23 lacs to get a better deal...so cannot go for yaris 1.3L cvt. its much more expensive.
I am also thinking about ciaz but I heard the parts of ciaz are very expensive and they are going to discontinue it also there are very few used ciaz adds on pakwheels...so where should I look for used ciaz?
If i go with used 1.5 A/T city what will be the safe mileage to look for ? 30k/40k?

I'd recommend either a GLI A/T or an Altis 1.6 in that case. Should be able to find a decent 2015/2016 in your budget. Nothing beats a Khota Corolla

yes its called the national khotaghari for nothing? its a good car for rough use and if one travels to rural areas frequently .
