Got Yokohama advan dB 185/65/15 for my city 16. Mileage improved from 14.3 KPL to 15.2 KPL within a matter of days. Advantages that I instantly felt:

1. Lesser cabin noise
2. NO activation of ABS on simple non-emergency braking
3. More stability
4. Better road grip
5. Above all personal satisfaction.

For those 30,000 KMs that i had those eurostars, i now feel, have literally been cruel to my car. Just in cane if anybody wants a feedback on which tyres to get installed in your City.

and
what should be the minimum exchange price for brand new Eurostar tyres (comes with city).

Yokohama Advan DB are available at Rs 8,000-8,500/- at J. Rashid neela gumbad Lahore

Almost Brand new euro stars are being sold in the market for Rs 3,000/- each so you should be able to get Rs 2200-2500 per tyre

My msg was in response to another poster who wants to have his euro stars replaced with Yokohama advan db. I was giving him price estimates on how much he will have to pay for Yokohama and for how much he will be able to sell his euro stars for.

Personally I prefer to do the same. Have already changed from general tyres to Dunlop on my Cuore and switched to Yokohama blue earth on my Baleno. Will replace euro star on my City soon as well

I have noticed that everyone is talking about Yokohama, CC or Peralli, Do anyone have had a experience with Bridge stone and Good Year with size of 185/65/R15???

I have excellent experience of Yokohama Advan Db on my city aspire 1.5, i used them for 75000 Kms and still they were good to go for 5000 more, no issues at all and only few puunctures, now got them changed with the new same tyres from Yokohama dealer at Isfahani Road, Faisal town lahore for 9125/tyre....

hello bro, am using 175/65/15 euro-star on my city 2012 model but i have a issue of ground clearance
tell me that if i switch to 195/65/15 then how mch its effect on fuel mileage ? n my ground clearance issue will resolve ?

Yes ground clearance issue will be resolved.
Mileage will be affected by how much i guess you'll find out

Milage drops about 2/3km/l.i was first using 195/65/r15.
Which oil grade and oil you are using in your car?

I am having

Hi!

I just got 205x55x16 Yokohama BluEarth (made 4614) for my Honda City (2011) and they are just spectacular!
I changed from Yokohama Advan 215x45x16 and the difference is huge! The 215s lasted about 4.5 years/56,000 KMs.
The thicker tyre really offsets the stiff suspension of the City and makes driving a pleasure. That said, these are soft tyres and should only be used for metaled roads (i.e. no off-roading!)

I also tried to look for 195x60x16s but could only find old (2013 or early 2014 manufacture date) Dunlops and Bridgestones. Wouldn't recommend Dunlops (noisy) or Bridgestones (too hard). According to tyre size apps, this size could have worked as well for the City.

Looking forward to taking the car on the motorway now

Make sure you shop around for best prices. I live in Islamabad and most of the shops here are just ripoffs. Finally got mine from Rawalpindi.
