Suggestion required under 2 million

Dear all,
I am seeking to avail car loan from my company. I can avail upto 2.5 million BUT BUT i dont want to over burden myself so i will stick to a maximum limit of 2 Million only. Your kind suggestions is required and will be highly appreciated. Kindly note that i can purchase new or used vehicle upto 6 years (local and imported) and vehicle will also be used on careem/ uber/ indrive on weekends (sat,sunday) only for some extra cash . Once or twice a month visit to village (Kashmir)...... I am listing my priorities.

1- fuel economy
2- maintenance cost
3- Resale

I am not including comfort, extra features or shaskhas because i know in this budget you had to compromise on one thing or the other... i am inclined toward,

old cultus 2017 model
new cultus 2017 onward
Alto
City 2016 onward
(Imported 660cc)- Btw not in favor of jdm due to non availability of parts but open to suggestions. Vehicle will be purchased on January 2023 inshallah so i had 2.5 months for proper working...instalment plan is for 10 years so i dont want any wrong decision to be regretted for whole decade.

660 cc vehicle life is not more then 3 years.
specially JDM vehicles are tricky to manage for engine & suspension maintenance. please delete JDM 660 from your list.

also sir forget about using car for rental services. there is hardly any savings.

public passengers are Lousy and they consider vehicle as trash bin. order drivers like taxi cab driver. The cost of maintenance doubles when a vehicle is used as public transport tool.

Cultus new shape will be easy on pocket for maintenance with better fuel economy, a quick brand to dispose off with minimal of depreciate.

Honda is expensive to maintain and heavy on fuel

Thank you sir for prompt response.....i am also not in favor of jdm for so many reason's. I am searching pakwheels and olx from past week and am socked to see their prices.
Sir what will be ideal model in my range and what variant should I opt for. Realistic fuel average, per month maintenance
Will not use extensively on careem but some bucks earned from here will definitely go to its monthly installment. What are other options keeping in mind my requirements. Btw i am from islamabad

I will suggest you to buy Suzuki alto (New) It will cover all the aspects

1- fuel economy -------- Good
2- maintenance cost ------- Almost non other the regular maintenance (oils, filters, etc.) for atleast 5 years
3- Resale ------- Good actually it is one of the best investments, See this

Firstly Thanks for your quick response....for new vehicle there is a wait time of almost 5 months and i dont think i can get even vxr in 2 million (on road price). Additionally So i had to bear 150k before even getting the car. Thats the reason I am inclined toward used one

I mean many people are doing that they buy a new car used it a year and buy new one, you can buy such vehicle.

why don't you buy Corolla XLI, it has easy maintenance, best resale, and has okayish fuel economy in its class.

Hey bro!
If we strictly talk about daily driven and fuel economy buy the new cultus 2017 and onwards model. It has a fair highway and intercity fuel average. The cabin is quite roomier for it's size and suspension isn't half bad. Good ac and enough power to almost take you everywhere where a car is supposed to go. However If you can live with 10-11kmpl try your luck with city(though I doubt a clean 2016 model will come under 2mil). Say no to all 660cc cars if you have to use them every weekend or every now and then for inter city commute. A lot of people will say we drive the new alto 660 on 140kmph on motorway but that's not what it was designed for in my opinion.

Spot on. Thanks for your help... dear i am super confused right now between 16,17 model old cultus and 17,18 model celerio cultus...as per my working i can get old 16,17 model in 1.3 million while same model new one will cost me 1.9 million. This is almost 5,6 lac difference. Now my concern is,
1- as both are same manufacturing year car isnt old cultus will be more economical towards maintainence (spare parts price)?
2- keeping in mind price gap how much will i save to cover this gap, if i opt for newer model
3- get to be variant, if opted for newer model
4- old model give 13 in city while new one is providing 17,18. Is 3,4 kmpl is justified for 500k price gap.....(assuming i drive 2500 km per month)

if you have decided to go for Cultus, then go for new one.. it will have better resale, better fuel economy, newer model so spare parts will be easily available...

these two generations of Cultus are totally different, from engine to body to comfort ..everything changed !

Buy new model cultus. The new cultus/celerio is much more economical than old cultus.

Very much inclined toward cultus..only thing bothering me of new vs old model. Already submitted my concern in above posts and in need of some solid ground to choose in between them.

1- Check engine parts prices for old g10 and you will be quite amazed about how high they are. Secondly a newer car is newer no matter what! it has better and improved technology, metallurgy and new bells and whistles which means fewer break downs. So in my opinion the new cultus is worth that extra money. P.s correct me if i am wrong this celerio is still in production in many countries and the old cultus internationally last rolled out in mid 90s.
2- I didn't get your question. How much will you save from what if you opt for a new cultus? Do you mean maintenance and fuel? if yes then its subjected to many things! how the car will be used. But definitely a newer cultus will save you many trips to workshops.
3- Better to get vxl! it has abs brakes.
4- 13 in city by old cultus? ok! only if you say so. we had a 0 meter one in 2003 or 2004 (when the vxr petrol variant used to cost 475k brand new), we had a 0 meter in 2013 and still have a 2015 in family, non of the car gave 13kmpl in city with ac. However the new one actually does 15-16kmpl in rawalpindi-islamabad. Rest you can calculate.
But while factoring the price difference etc do keep onething in mind that compare the fact that you are buying a newer technology and maybe a better built car in my opinion. For instance the steering wheel of old vxr was hard! the doors of cultus just not make that calming closing sound even the day it rolled outta factory. There is a noticeable drop in power with ac on and the ac is not comparable to new cultus at all! the seats of old cultus were just fine, engine noise and many small things and list goes on.
Sit in an old cultus and ask yourself if you want it and then sit in a new cultus and ask yourself if you want this(Both are easily available on single day rent from all known rent a cars in rwp-isb). After that see your budget and see what you can buy. I would like to buy a new Mercedes but i can afford an old corolla means i should be buying an old corolla and let the Mercedes dream for some other time hope this helps.

Thanks 4 this detail reply Jazakallah. U had answered all of my doubts very well. So new cultus is finalized. Btw about old cultus, from office old efi cultus was in my custody for 6 months and i was very amazed to see its average on cng. (At that time cng was available) but its also true that average very much depends upon your driving style..
