Hello guys. Went to sadar yesterday (Rawalpindi), got really disappointed to see the crap quality stuff with exorbitant prices. Most of the shopkeepers don't even know what they are selling. They are illiterate in terms of technical specifications. A few even told me that 3 RCA preamp output HU doesn't exists. A few showed me amps with 1200 watt rms and tried to convince me that I don't know about power. They are selling Chinese stuff at the price of branded and then say ppl don't wanna go for branded stuff. Except sherry bhai from Sound valley no ones knows what they are talking about.

Anyways I didn't shop anything from sadar. I will look for addzest amps today on PW. If anyone 'Reading' knows anyone selling an amp then kindly let me know.

I was amazed to see that if I can just read some literature regarding what I wanna buy then why not ppl with their living associated to this.

On the way back home I passed by Sultan ka Khoo (Rawalpindi). I found an amp which I took gamble and bought for my sub. I have till Wednesday to check and return if it isn't working.

The amp is sony xplod 2200GTX 2/1 channel amp. The specs are powerful, 500 watt rms at 4ohm bridged. My subwoofer is 300 watt rms. So i guess it should run really well.

I paid 4000 rupees for that. Lets see how it goes.

Hi guys, I am finally done with my sound system. Thanks to @devils_smile for his advise throughout the task.

I did it 5 days ago but was busy to post the pics. Traveled to cholistan and enjoyed the great sound on the way.

The final equipment is,

Alpine ida-x305 pre
Sony xplod 2200gtx amp
Cerwin-vega xl300.4 amp
Infinity kappa 42.9i
Infinity kappa 50.9cs
Infinity reference 1260W

I made the box myself for sub, 1.25 cu.ft. sealed.

Modified the speakers installations as per the YouTube video shared by @devils_smile in a previous post.

Took help from an electrician from sadar to run the cables for me. I was lazy at the end to do that myself.

The mess is good. You wont believe the mess I make when I work. But I've never lost a bolt or nut let alone a tool in the process. And when everything is finally back in place, the feeling is great. My dad calls me a clumsy head.

The setup looks very promising. It should serve you well indeed. Would love to see some install pics so looking forward to that.
