Then you shouldn't face a problem swapping the final drives.
3k rpm at 120km/h is normal for 5 speeds.

Mine goes to 3800 on 120, read here at Pakwheels that Altis manual speciallly the 2004-2007 has v short gear ratios.. i travel a lot , so wanted to have a longer gear for top speed . I will share code once I am home

You need lsd diff from ae86.
Not sure about price. You might need to buy it from dubai.

I've seen a few ads of ke70 on pak wheels people have installed LSDs of Cressida & Crowns

The thing is the local mechanics don't know much about gear ratios and me neither

What about brake upgrade ? I'm currently driving on Allah Tawakul Braking system , rear brakes are not connected, front are only useful for holding the car at a place , I've not touched the brakes yet , don't know the condition of pads and discs

Are original ke70 brakes good enough ? Or should I upgrade

I just picked up a 7ke ke70 with welded diff. Were you able to drift properly with it. Since I'm considering a swap too but the prices are so high rn. Also what did you do regarding the brakes as my brakes are almost 0 very minimal stopping power. And LSD Ka bhi Kuch howa ? since my welded diff is about to go I feel it
