When i thought about this project, i requested here to seek advice for possible designs/shape whereas people opined to drop this idea as suzuki fx 800 is not worth for reshaping

I think alot about it but finally figure out that nothing is impossible even some people at india has already built a 2 door pickup truck out of old maruti 800 (suzuki fx 800),first i made some design of small urban cars but while checking that reshaped maruti pickup on net i seen a guy who is in business of custom made cars at delhi, he also did a hummer out of local make jeep (just front job and body stretched, having modification price of 4 to 5 lacs ie pak rupees 8 to 10 lacs) so i say why not a small hummer with 800 cc engine

We started this project from 18th of last month with a plan to complete it within 1 and a half month however just 60% job is done yet as the task is tuff secondly we outsource the work of electric,seats,interior, AC etc but those people are not attending our job full time due to Eid rush, it is really a tuff job, i spended a handsome amount whereas project seems to not completed within planned time, altogether these things made me disheart and i was about to drop it then a friend of mine STAR gave me alot encouragement he says that nothing is impossible just be patience and positive.

Just 60% +/- job is done as yet, i want to come here at completion of this project but i received many mails from pakwheel members, asking progress of RR, i told them that RR job is suspended for the time being because of new project which is hopefully completed by the end of the month

The project is still not completed but i am sending snaps of project just to keep my promise , keep in mind that picture are old when the vehicle was nearly 40%, I dedicated this project to the friend STAR without his encouragement it never be happened.

true, it has also been advised before, i also want make work shop in proper shape but due to some reason it is delayed.

Though it is a pickup truck,should be in bigger size however small engine of 800 cc restricted for appropriate sizes, we therefore calculated and did our best for sizes according to 800cc engine

thank you for your encouraging comments, every member of pakwheel has right to comment here weather it is positive or negative and i do not mind of negative comment, (if any) rather it give you a boost and it is for your betterment not discouragement, in my opinion pakwheel is the biggest forum at Pakistan regarding vehicles and no doubt that most of its members are technically very very smart but i am surprised that nobody has comment on technical aspects of this project, in my view following are the vital points and i request to comments thereupon

1] local manufacturers of vehicles at Pakistan (specifically who are making small cars) could improve their quality within in a price that a common Pakistani could afford,i get all accessories and parts from local market in reasonable price, though accessories like fridge console,tyres,power seats and sun roof etc are in used condition, it shall be a custom made small pickup truck with 800cc engine with all notable accessories within a cost of less than pak rupess 8 lacs

2} technical people here at Pakistan are enough smart ( my project vehicles are not perfect but i guess a bit better, hummer is being started from scratch and hopefully completed within time span of 2 and half month. both projects are being done by local people,( but they do need technical guidance and support) i guess that completion period is notable

3]some people in neighboring country had modified a local jeep into hummer (just front and body streached) in price ranging from Pak Rupees 8 to 10 lacs (youtube video clip of same is at post # 15 of this thread) whereas our hummer sut h2 would be less than of Pak Rupees 8 lacs despite of the fact that this amount include cost of the donor car,chassis,frame,seats,suspension,complete engine overhaul,low profile tyres with alloy rims,AC, sun roof,fridge console,power seats, power steering power windows, power side mirriors, all glasses, paint job, all labour etc etc

one last thing, i am not doing these projects for any monitory purpose rather for the satisfaction of my old passion,i just started this suzuki fx 800 project with a thought that it may give some encouragement for the motor related people
