You mean people coming from Sukkur will have to drop off on Khanewal and then again continue from Abdul Hakeem Interchnge?? Its around 1 hour travel on service road.....

yes i went there at zahir-peer interchange but they told me the same old story, "only those are allowed who posses a special pass". So i didn't argue or request and came back to N5 and continued my journey to Multan.
I just went on it from sukkur to multan on 18th august. You need to get permission from 441 brigade based in karachi. Since my father is a retired army officer , we made a few phone calls and got the permission.
Abdul hakim to multan patch is closes again due to some accident,travelled day before yesterday
it is not open for reasons of public safety:
permissions are granted with caution words " at your own risk "
And you think public is much safer on other roads (national/provincial highways.)

well at least those national highways have cell coverage, police presence and hotels on both side .. unlike the Multan Sukkur Segment
