Sultan Golden's rides (pics)

These both used to be my cousin's rides back in late 80's. These were one of the cleanest rides of Lahore at that time and Sultan Golden approached to my cousin for both of these cars. He bought both of these at the same time from him, BMW was smashed the same night Sultan Purchased, According to Sultan he was on 180Km/hr when the car slided to the footpath.,Neways, then Sultan prepared the Celica for the reverse jump at Fortress Stadium Lahore. I still remember that jump, was i guess back in 1995 or 96. Boy!! That was exciting!!.

Yes, Its not a celica, i thought as these were the same which my cousin had, Just talked to him and showed him the picture, He sold his Celica and his BMW same model but 7Series to Sultan Golden. He told that the BMW rolled over the same night and was totalled. Celica was last used in that Fortress jump and was never rebuilt by Sultan after that.

he used to have a pizza shop in peshawar some five years back near pizza hut .... i met him a couple of times,he had big beard at the time ... when we were children all of us would try wheelies on our bicycles trying to copy sultan golden.

LOng time ago!!! he did a world record of jump drive over many buses and succesfully performed then performed many other filmy stunts as well now an old flabby man luks like peer pagara,, have a pizza shop at mdl twn link rd lahore. 2 studnts professional drivers as well challeged his reocrd but death kisssed dem in failure. Man..he was there when I was a child...dint get a chance to actually see him performing live though...saw him on tv...had golden like hair and beard...and fair complexion.

Used to see his stunts on ptv back then...he used to perform in fortress stadium lahore...I remember he once jumped his car in reverse setting a world record...

I want to meet this guy...I've always wanted to meet him...talk to him...I have searched for his videos as well...but cant find them anywhere...

You know, when we started driving, me and my friend used to go out and wherever we used to park our car, we used to see which one of us would park it closest to the curb, without touching it..and our bumpers would be like a centimeter apart from the curb and we would get out and see it and say 'aj golden lag gai hai....'

Can someone please give me the name and location of his pizza parlor in lahore?

Sure and indeed he is a Living Legend, and will be remembered. But unfortunately we didnt respect or honour these legends. Even lots of automoble programs are being carried by the TV channels and i dont think any one of them tried to contact him.

On Pakistan day he use to jump and we kids wait for that jump.
