Dear All,

I am very thankful for your patience as you have suggested me cars/links but I have not gone for them yet. Now I have narrowed down my search to only one car maker and then again to only three of the car maker's vehicle types. This is due to parts availability and better feedback.

Toyota LC (100 series)
Toyota prado (only 3 door)
Toyota surf/4runner (2003 and newer models, the new shape ones)

I have also increased my budget range to 3 mil

If anyone is selling any of the above 3 vehicles in this price range kindly let me know.

Grand Cherokee would be best choice in term of Performance, its beyond LC/Nissan/Range Rover.
U wud love it ,once u drive.
you can get Grand Cherokee within your range on PW.

You may be right that it may be better than the others on my list but the thing is that I don't want to bother myself by going city to city just to be looking for a single part for my car. Thats one of the reasons (no parts availability) that I dropped the idea of Tundra.

If you can tell me the shop where I can buy parts (in RWP/ISB) for the particular cherokee available on pakiwheels then that might change my view. By the way kindly do let me know if you are referring to any particular cherokee.

hmm,,
i own Jeep Cherokee n its running well,, about parts, we have a (Cherokee Family) contact in Karachi,
Saqlain Bhai,, he has almost everything about this ride, if Not, then he can arrange on our request.if required.
I do not have in sight particular Jeep,its really difficult to find a classic piece , but though having , wont sale at any cost.

by the way,, one of my contact having Nissan Safari low roof, it has out class condition,
n asking 1.2 milio for that beauty.

This is a very assuring information (about the cherokee family). This should be advertised on Pakwheels. Could change the market price for cherokees. Thanks again man.

About the Nissan Safari. Which model is it? Is it 3 door? Registration? It is a good option if I get a good deal on a relatively newer model. i.e. 2000 plus. It should be Islamabad registered only. Registration city if any other could be a deal breaker. Un-registered is another case.

My range to buy an SUV is between 1,500,000 and 2,500,000. Kindly suggest a good 4X4 in this range.

It should be a good 4 wheel drive for offroads (not neccessarily rock crawling)

If by any luck someone is selling a Hummer H2/H3 in this price (which is not likely) then I will go for it.
Mercedes G or BMW X

If someone is selling an SUV in these criteria and want to sell then do let me know.

Experts/members kindly advise (please include Vehicle, Model, Est. Price). Preferably ISB registered.

I would reckon 96-98 Land cruiser with 1HD-FTE 4.2 L (4164 cc) camshaft turbocharged diesel engine.Awesome drive,most successful in Pakistan and parts are easily available.You can find limited edition with auto transmission ECT,airbags,cruise control under 1.8 million.

There is no issue with LHR reg, but I myself would prefer to buy only ISB reg.

WoW the jeep really looks cool. If I get one in mint condition then it might change my mind but currently not looking for an 80 series. Its great but I am looking for something 1998 or later model.
