Im not denying that alto is a slow ass car and vitz is a much heavier and stable car.But when it comes to basic physics Im sorry I cant bring myself to be blind to that.

You can see that upto 100 kmh the works was ahead.And frankly speaking a 0 to 100 time faster than a civic.Hell yeah plz.
On the motorways there is no possibility of works even coming close to a civic but thats not what I was talking about

Being Slow or having a sluggish pickup because of it being CVT does not means it has a bad weigh to power ratio. Even a AT Corolla would have a better pickup to similar CVT Corolla.

CVT has the rubber band effect,

Since you are mentioning physics, You should better know how Vitz would be able to maintain 140 better then a Alto.

Hint its a 1000cc car which you are comparing with a 660cc car.

No sir no plz .Im not mentioning pickup or sluggish drive.
Im saying how os it that a vitz can keep up 140 as easily as a car with better power to weight ratio.

All right Fuck it im going in​

Vitz has 1000cc 1kr fe engine making 64 hp.It has a kerb weight of about 1050 kg.Using basic maths the power to weight ratio turns out to be 0.00615 units.Multiply it by 100 for easier calculation it becomes 6.15.

Alto has jerb weight of 670 kg and the R series engine makes about 54 hp.Doing the mats again we get .00805

Just to add, Altos 54HP figures are from the Japanese variant.

The Pakistani Alto doesnt produce this much HP, Still if i ever got a chance il do a dyno checkup and get back to you. if i am wrong i am wrong.

for now the Pakistani variant of R06 Engine is detuned for a better torque at lower gears to be driven in Pakistan and on a low quality fuel.

Just saw the video you have shared, On a good day a 2014/2015 Vitz was bringing his car near to me on a Alto 2019 AGS, Alto left him behind pretty easily like a boss (this was probably a 300/400 meter stretch)

An engine can not be detuned to such an extent that the HP and torque figures of it dont match the compression ratio.I highly highly doubt that pak suzuki engineers are qualified enough to successfully detune an engine and that two by only ecu tuning.The bore nd stroke remain the same in any case so such a difference is impossible
Still I dont have concrete evidence to support my claim but inshallah in near future I will expect a dyno from you on the alto.plz do share the results im very excited just by the thought of it​.

Alto is 49 HP for 5AT which is AGS
Vitz is 69 HP as mentioned on the japanese website, Still with your calculations Alto has better weight ratio. I will look for a exact dyno test if ever and then we can discuss the actual findings.

Please get your facts right. First of all pak suzuki has misstated the engine power in brouchure. Pkdm alto has 48HP engine, same as one found in jdm alto manual version. Secondly on AC performance, I own a pkdm wagon r vxl, whose AC is considered one of the best among all the cars locally avaialable, even much much better than the AC in new cultus, I am up for side by side comparison any given day. So if wagon r`s AC is 10/10, I would rate alto`s ac 9/10. I deducted 1 point for its slower air blower compared to one in wagon r

I reiterate, I am open for side by side comparison of fuel economy between new cultus and alto 660. If the cultus , be it with 0w20 or any engine oil, manages to beat alto in feul economy then you can take my alto for free along with all the documents. I will bear the transfer fee as well.

pkdm alto is 48HP and also, not every jdm alto is 54 hp, only cvt and ags variants are which have VVT in their engines. Manual jdm alto is also 48HP, same as pkdm one

SM`s reviews are shitty tbh. I dont take them seriously. And fuel economy is no absolute number but if you think so then keep day dreaming. Alto`s AC wokrs perfectly fine for the rear passengers as well, just park the car in shade and that is all.

When you talk about fuel economy then you dont even know what you are talking about. Stop watching these youtube videos and be more pragmatic in your facts. I am offering you a free car here by offering a side by side comparison. But if you still dont accept it then you are just making an argument just for the sake of argument without 0 actual facts behind it.

Also if you are bringing maruti suzuki`s fuel average claims into argument then I will bring suzuki japan`s claim for alto in the argument which is 37kmpl. These numbers are not true in real world conditions and are obtained in a controlled environement with many ifs and buts.

I am talking about 8th generation alto and the claim of suzuki japan for its fuel efficiency. Pak suzuki also made a similar claim when alto was launched. Word of advice is that never ever take these numbers seriously.

Now you are taking those numbers serious. Pak suzuki also made the claim of 30+ kmpl. Max I have acheived with 4 people on board with ac in a trip is 25kmpl with average traffic. This figure is not absolute and can change with even air density if you know how engines work
