5000km is by suzuki pakistan. by suzuki japan it is 10,000km for the same engine

i think drain interval depends mostly on the oil grade, so also mention the oil grade being used

My cousins 19 Alto VXL underwent 3 major upgrades recently.

1) DIY Major Sound Deadening

Me and my cousin bought 7 x MSpark + 7 x Infinity sheets. The Mspark sheets were bought from F10 Markaz while the Infinity sheets were bought from SoundValley who also later did the SQ setup install. We did all 4 doors, inside and outside along with the trunk, boot area, rear inner wheel wells and spare wheel trunk area. Also did the insides of all 4 door trims and the boot lining. There is absolute 0 sound deadening provided in this car and its helped immensely with reducing the resonance inside the car. The next stage is to line it with a closed cell foam including under the rear seat + front wheel well area under the dash

2) SQ Setup installed + BIG3

We decided the car needed a good SQ setup. This setup is the definition of scratching the surface but it turned out to be absolutly mega for a car this size. He had previously installed front Sony Xplod and rear Pioneer coaxials but it was time for an upgrade. We deleted the rear sound stage and focused on the front. I purchased the:
a) Pioneer AVH-3100DAB
b) Helix F62C
c) Oehlbach 2.5mm2 speaker cable 20m roll from Germany and brought them along with me.
Shehryar from SoundValley arranged the
d) JBL CS-1224 subwoofer
e) Pioneer GM-6704 amplifier
f) Stinger 4Awg Power/GND cable + Big 3

The install was done by him. The headunit source has 2 camera inputs (front/rear) but for the time being, we decided to stick with the rear and install the front camera later. The sub was installed in a sealed 1 cu.ft enclosure filled with polyfill. The power cables for the amplifier and BIG3 in the hood were wrapped in head shield tubing with both + cables having inline 150anl fuses. Additional sound deadening was applied to the speaker pods on the doors

3) DIY Spare Wheel modification

This upgrade has been done before here on PW. That's exactly where we took the inspiration from. This was necissary since the trunk already has the subwoofer box and the standing spare wheel was ruining the rear seat bench cover ( as can be seen from the pics ). The DIY is pretty easy. 2 Hours at max from scratch including cleaning up after yourself. We also went ahead and flattened the edges of the Styrofoam with a holt blade afterwards for a clean look

Apart from this, the car is running on Caltex Havoline 0W20. Transmission fluid will be changed to ZIC FF 75W85 synthetic ( yes, I know the recommended is 75W but neither suzuki has it or anyone for that matter ). Headlight bulbs changed to AuxLEDs H4 with front parking lights & rear brake lights also changed to AUxleds. For whatever reason, the rear left brake light kept busting out every now and then.

For all asking, the drain interval of SGO fully synthetic 0w20 is minimum 6k kms. It can be streched to 8-9k kms safely. Fully synthetic oils usualy last for 10k easily but given the pollution in atmosphere, it is generally advised to limit them to 8-9k kms. Applies for 0w20 by SGO, shell, zic, kixx, caltex, total. Expensive ones like LM, valvoline etc can last for 15k minimum but they do require oil filter change before the completion of their mileage

Pollution in atmosphere has nothing to do with the engine oil packed & circulating inside engine.

The sound levels inside the cabin have drastically changed. The cars feels sturdier on the road. The sound stage is phenomenal. I would suggest a BIG3 on this car. It helps with the light dimming issues when you have your AC on, rolling the electric windows etc.

I don’t think there’s any need of spare tyre if you are using stock general tyres.

how would you compare the cabin noise of the car before and after the insulation ? can it be compared to any other locally build car like city or corolla or thats too much to ask from this car ? as i am about to get the delivery of my 1st car in april hopefully , i have plans for sound proofing .thanks for your time .

You would need to do some cutting in the styrofoam. It's not difficult but a little time consuming. The donut tire has to be (105/90R12) or slimmer. I will pull out the styrofoam and show how deep ( depth ) you have to cut so the tire fits snuggly because the top edge fits under the rear bench seat. Any wider wheel wont fit.

I would rather have spare tire (routinely used,easy to use) Than kit provided by default.
