The vehicle was pretty stable for me at speeds of upto 110 km/h but when you cross the 120 barrier you can actually hear the weird wind noise on the body. 100 to 120 seemed quite okay but couldnt trust myself with the car crossing 120.

Moreover driving alto at 120km/h speed brings fuel economy to 16.5 km/l thereby severely impacting fuel economy. Maintaining speeds upto 100km/h ensure fuel economy around 20km/l.

I have Alto AGS and I noticed on rain days after the first cold start in the morning, the clutch slips in first gear. But it never happens again after the vehicle warms up. This happens only when the car is parked outside with no shades above. Also, it never happens on sunny days.

I am not exactly sure whether it's slipping clutch. The car jerks in first gear like the engine is missing.

Does anyone else experience the same? Or it could be an early sign of clutch going bad. Since it's a common issue with AGS

My Alto is still a few days away from delivery but I did a test drive of a new AGS of a friend and the car I drove had similar reaction. It was behaving like a manual transmission car would jerk a bit and rpms would go down slightly while taking off, like when one lifts off the clutch pedal without enough gas pedal. The car never turned off though and kept driving with slight jerks while in 1st and 2nd gear. I was super gentle with the car, although the guy i borrowed it from drove it like a crazy person and intercity too. To be honest its not a conventional auto gear experience. It seems the car is gonna die due to low rpm but it doesn't and if you ignore the behavior of the car it feels normal after 5 mins. Not impossible to live with. It's just a different technology that an auto tranny.

I know the normal behavior of AGS transmission. The minor jerks are normal, but in my case it really feels like huge jerks and I have to release the accelerator and then press again gradually.

I think you should get it checked but alas this has to be a consistent issue before it can be diagnosed. Keep driving till it becomes more prominent and meanwhile get the extended warranty if you haven't already.
Suzuki would just turn you back if the problem isn't showing in normal condition. All the best brother hope your issue gets resolved soon.

Could you please elaborate, I had the same issue after I drove the car in flooded waters in khi but the issue went away automatically

I never drove the car in flooded water. I am in Islamabad and there's no flood situation here, at least in my area.
The jerks are like clutch is slipping and not able to pick/accelerate properly. Then I have to release the accelerator and press is gradually. This happens only on cold start in the morning on rainy day when 1st gear is used for the first time for that day. Right now, my guess is it's due to moisture. I am putting the blame on clutch because the engine do not have any missing problem.

BTW, the car is not new, so I cannot buy extended warranty. It's 2019, but only 12,000 km driven.

Ya... I had this issue it was happening a lot before after rains and now it's gone away automatically. I went to the showroom and also asked them, they said it could be moisture. Especially during cold start and what I mean is after starting the parked car for more then 10 hours when shifting to D after waiting for the engine to warm up the car used to jerk and it feels like as if it's missing and does not happen the rest of the day at all.

I had the same exact issue with the car when changing gears from 1st to 2nd before my vehicle clocked 2000km. The guy at the dealership told me not to worry and told me it was moisture. The issue was resolved after driving 2000km . I had a problem with the reverse gear lag aswell and it was also fixed automatically after driving 2000km.

My issue is also gone as soon as the rain stopped for past few days. So it's definitely moisture.

There are few jerks in VXL now and then, do not bother if it isn't a continuous issue.

Got vehicle checked from dealership. The check engine light came due to knock sensor code. They cleared the code and said that issue has been resolved.
