Have you tried pressing the button on the dashboard on the left side of steering wheel?

Pressing it disengages the Engine Auto stop aka Idle feature.

Dear All,

In Alto 2014 ECO Idling, in dashboard there is ENG-A STOP LED is permanently turned ON in orange, car was scanned through computer, technician said its related to battery, advised to check the fluid in battery, then he acknowledged this error (which removed it at the time).

After couple of days its turned ON again, while there is no difference in usage, drive is smooth, has anyone else encountered such an issue?

Hi buddies, I have alto eco 2014. i am confused with a thing that happens after trip completion. when i switch off the engine the odometer shows summary of the trip i.e time, ml, eco etc, my problem is that it shows "eco 100" msg, while few days before as i purchased the car that time it was showing "eco 0". what is mean by "eco 100" and "eco 0" ?? can anybody explain???

It gives you driving marks. If you drive hard it'll give low number like 70 ~80. If you drive with light foot it gives higher marks 90+

My Alto 2013 speed o meter is showing that ECO idle is off and i am unable to turn it ON can you guide me what to do. My car have a TPL trakker and was working fine just a week ago.

Have you fastened the seat belt? If it does not detect seat belt it will not turn on, still if it\s not showing drive for few km, still not then check your battery.

Here's the doubt lies....either the previous mileage was covered without proper timely maintenance which ruined the car major tuning OR the actual mileage is more than shown on the ODO meter (possibility of ODO reset)....You own the car, all you can do is get it scanned and thoroughly serviced..DO NOT drive it frequently UNLESS you find and get the fix.

Meri alto 660cc achanak say chaltay chaltay minor jerks like kuch karnay lag jaati hai... aur jab full accelerator press kar do chaltay mein tab bhi karti hai...

Following things i checked / changed but no result.
Catalyic Converter Cleaned
Plugs Changed
MAF Sensor Cleaned
Transmission Oil Changed
