I have just bought a Auto G2 Alto JDM 2006 in red color, its a good car with all the best features packed in a small box. I like the car, but I am concerned about its mileage.
1. Its CAT converter is not working due to which its engine check light is on
2. The mechanic has told me to change its head jane kit
3. on an elevation its power goes off , can some one help me in this matter

and can you guys guide me good mechanics in Pindi/Islamabad and places where I can buy its spare parts?

Hi guys...I own a Nissan Pino 2009....I bought the car in Jan 2013...The pick of my car used to be very good. I could easily touch 60-65 kmph keeping light foot on the pedal. My daily usage is about 120-130 kilometres ( i know thats hell lot of distance ). But now after travelling 40,000 kms my car doesn't have the same pick, if i keep my foot light on the pedal i can't cross 40-50. So anybody here could advise me what should I do. I get good average though last time I calculated I got 18.8 km/litre (without AC) , however the average on Ac is really poor and the car gets too heavy, I really have to floor the pedal in order to get to 60-70. I change oil regularly, filters are also changed.

which oil are you using? what about plugs? are you using OEM recommended ones or some other?

Congratulations on your new purchase and welcome to the club! You can get oil filter, air filter, brake pads etc from azhar shaheed market in sadar and that suzuki parts shop in babu mohalla( forgot its name but its a big shop , hard to miss) in rawalpindi easily. You can either get the CAT removed or get a used one from chah sultan to fix the issue but wait for more senior members to post a reply they'll know what to do.

Can some one help me in understanding the performance niches of this car, how can i optimize the performance and mileage of my car.

My, otherwise perfect jdm, recently developed an issue. The rpm drops to engine stall on cold start. I recently cleaned the battery terminals by removing the battery. my guesstimate is that i reset the ECU and then just drove the car without idling it for 10/15 minutes.
my second guess is dirty throttle body.
Please help me narrow down my guesses

I own a 2008 jdm alto , i recently changed the spark plugs(ngk japenses) nd regularly change oil nd filters nd throttle body washed 4months back , over the time vibration of car on idle have increased nd another issue wen i leave the accelerator after reaching 70-80as the speeds reduce whole car vibrate for a second ,these are the issue i m facing

That Pino may be major accidental!
Why not get a Pino if u can get it for less ?
If u get it for less then sell it for less , No loss !
I bought a Pino 2009 (1 and a half years back) for 6 70k and now its market price is 7 25-50k , im getting profit , If i convert it to fuel it means i got 80k km free fuel , So the car ran free of cost ? So Pino works!

Dear with 50k pkr u can not cross 10000 km in mileage even if your average is 22km/L. How come you expect 80,000 km?

I meant to say that I saved 80k rs worth of fuel.

My issue resolved. The throttle body was dirty. Got it cleaned.

I don't like ALTO BECAUSE [its small, tiny & low-speedy vehicle], I am still quite happy with Baleno JXR-2005, which gives me 17.3/Liter on fuel [Petrol] within da city . I didn't tested its millage on motorway though.
if you wont mind, this vehicle is not for male-gents but females I mean seriously .... don't you feel embarrassment while driving 660 a tiny vehicle ???

Well TRUTH ABOUT BLENO always hurts others .. coz its a motha-fcuka SPORTS car indeed.

Even your hybird is not doing it , its not the vehicle fault, better change the driver for the aggressive positive stats. I don't know ab0out your hybird version. I've read about Lexus Hybird whose official ratting is 47Km/Liter. but people usually meet 35-37km/Liter.

Brother my hybrid does 18.5 normally but in this trip bcuz we went to margalla its @15 km/l but now i got your point that how your baleno does 17.3 km/l , you said that lexus hybrid does 47 km/l whereas it maybe is 47 MPG (And that too is not possible) , so your baleno maybe is also doing 17.3 MPG , secondly you said baleno is a sports car ? So sports cars are not meant for economy .....
