Salam,
I purchased a 2007 model Alto Japan, 41k km genuine mileage.
In lahore, due to smooth roads, I didn't notice much noise from its suspension. But, while I moved to normal roads, it is giving very unpleasant sound (garrar garrar like sound) at low speeds & on bumpy road. (From left side of front wheel especially)
I experienced similar sound from Honda Life of a friend.
What sound is this? What are solutions?
Kindly advise.

I am also getting Garr garr sound from my front left wheel.. I got it checked and mechanic said that some bush is broken..

Lol, you didn't try fixing it then? What is ur mileage? I heard most japani cars have this problem due to high mileage.
Anybody else who have fixed this problem?

No i didn't.. I am getting this sound from a long time but now ill get it fixed..
When i got the car odo meter was on 3300
but i think its driven above 100k km.

I think you living in carpet roads area. I'm in a remote area, I can't afford this noise, making me nutty.
Kindly go to mechanic & get your fixed. if mechanic told you any specific bush name? Is it CV joint or a real bush?

Lol and im getting the same dag dag sound, a mechanic told me its yr right godaaz prob and made an estimate of 18k lmao, i specially joined pakwheels just to know abt these things, im totally a noob abt cars

My daily traveling is around 100km. I travel almost on every type of road and this noise also disturbs me..
In mechanic language Front suspension ki kanggi left side wala bush farig ha.. Will get it checked from a better mechanic and will update you..

Good. Do you feel sound while moving straight or while taking turn? I believe there are two CV joints on each front side (godday):
One for forward move & other for taking turn.
I feel sound at low speed & in bumps & only in forward drive, not on turns.
I don't know it is bush or godda. I live in village, even don't have mechanic around, that's why looking to your fix.

I feel this sound same as you do.. Low speed, in bumps and going straight.. not on turns etc.
I also think that its godda sound.. Else would get it checked on this weekend and then will inform you.

I have a 2007 JDM alto A/T. The initial mileage on long route was 18 km/l. A car buff friend removed its catalytic converter and fuel injectors were cleaned. The car started giving 25km/liter on long route. Then I made a disaster. I bought the wrong sized tires for it. The OEM tire was 145mm wide. The ones available in the market were 155. So I bought them and still repenting. Its again on 17/18 km/liter.

The car is very sensitive to clogged air filter. I use Leppon (PKR 700) airfilter. The car accelerates good when the filter is clean. As soon as it starts getting dirty after 2/3 weeks, the acceleration and mileage reduces significantly. There is another local brand ZenTec. Its filters are also good.
Overall its a good car. But stick to OEM size tire.

25km/h on long ?? At what speed 60 km/h .... My Pino 2009 never does 25 on long even my mira manual 2012 does 24km/h on long (at 100km/h)

Catalytic converter has a tendency to get choked due to low quality of petrol in Pakistan. And when it starts choking, the engine performance decreases significantly.
I drive at 80/90 KM and I am light on gas pedal.

JDMs are very sensitive on air filter. Install a new air filter and then calculate the mileage. You will be surprised.
