a) Alto is heavy on fuel, how much you are getting around 8-10 Km/L is OK
b) If heat gauge stays in middle, it is OK

yes on fuel is b/w 8-10 km/L and gauge remain in middle. Kindly tell me that should i install CNG kit ? and if yes...then from where and how much it would cast.....?

dear ALTO owners, since last three days experiencing following problem,,,,need ur expert advice,,,,my ALTO vxr is 2011, 57K driven, never touched by any mechanic,, driven both on petrol and cng....

1. Experiencing jerks (jhatka) as soon as i press accelerator pedal while driving

2. if i slowly increase the speed then there are little jerks but still they are there...

3. it seems that carburator doesnt get the required fuel...

4. There is no starting issue.....however in idle start engine do misfire if accelerator is pressed.....

5. In my opinion that it is related to fuel filter....or may be some plug related issue ?. what do u guys say?........where is fuel filter located ,,,how to replace....or it is some other problem....

help needed please.....

A humble advice get it checked from pak Suzuki 7s dealership they are very experienced regarding such issues. I had an issue car was jerking when I moved the car and accelerated at 1st gear and also jerk on slopes and it was like car had its power decreased simple tappet adjustment got the issue fixed!

A humble advice get it checked from pak Suzuki 7s dealership they are very experienced regarding such issues. I had an issue car was jerking when I moved the car and accelerated at 1st gear and also jerk on slopes and it was like car had its power decreased simple tappet adjustment got the issue fixed!

I am sure your issue will get fixed too in shaa allah. I am overall satisfied from suzuki they know what is the issue and the fix, not like local mechanics that fix everything else except the issue you are facing.

UPDATE: a friend suggested me a JUGAAR, and i did following

1. i removed the air filter
2. inter changed the position of two of electric cables
3. then ignition the car for 5/6 times and it misfired
4. then placed the cables in correct position
5. then after installing the air filter i started the car and it was perfectly fine and there was no jerk at all....

my friend says it was KACHRAA in carburetor(jet nozzles) and once we changed the electric cables it mis fires and removes the KACHRAA

so tht was it,,,,thnkfull to ALLAH.....
shared for betterment of all.....

i dont know myself that whats the logic but thts what i experienced,,,,,, however today i bought STP carb cleaner and put it in fuel tank....lets see the results........

Well it Does reach the mid-level on normal irrespective of summer and winter.Its common in non-Efi series...New cars have Efi in them so they don't need mid-level temp for proper performance... they are normally at 1/4...keep observing and u'll get it..
