Hello everyone. Just bought an alto 2011. There is a liitle dust inside its speedometer area which i cant clean it from outside so i am planning to do a little DIY and would like a little bit of guidance from someone who has the opened meter themselves

Got a leppon air filter for alto
And old one guard which is 10k driven
But air intake is also there so double the purification

Guys i m going to swap my Alto engine with Passo 1000efi 2012 model engine. Surveyed the market in detail. Looked for G15a & G13b engines, but this swap is nothing to do much with weight shift. Suggestions....

G series is easy to swap and weight is not much more then F10A it self
passo ka engine ok so u will drive a CVT toyota powered
get a 2011 alto 660 CVT engine it would be less hectic
but G15a is best of all
power to crush some big and power full cars
and econmy 15kml with ac

it is an air intake for efi cars i retero fitted it to stock air filter box
take out the air filter and it will run only on air intake in front
and yes farak parta ha

1: i can get a new model 2012, so no part issue. G15a available r bit old model b4 2005
2: it has less weight
3: it come with auto gear, i need AT
4: now a days passo had very gud reviews
5: G15a need axle replacement & brake system too.

keeping in view isnt passo the right choice

ur choice but it isn't that fuel efficient
go for K10A
the 4 cyl brother of k10b efi
suzuki enignes less work
g15a is old but who cares it got parts and brakes well u can upgrade with bolt on parts
form 660 alto servo and brake disks
and u can also get abs working with g15a
passo engine will require alteration
g15a very less
and it is proved g15a are good daily runners

I have installed k6A in my alto, avg is ok 11 on local with AC. but i m not satisfied with the power.its bit OK type engine.
K10A or K10b are not available in the market i searched alot. i got the feel i cant get engine how come the part. G15a is available .35k asking, dnt knw its reasonable or not...pl suggest
Passo avg is 14 to 17 on AC..i asked so many guys having passo. one more thing having g15a, there is so much less space for mechanic to do maintenance work.

Well thankyou but i was able to open it pretty easily btw is that plastic cover available anywhere in the market as i wasn't able to clean it so thinking of replacing it

try to polish(buffing) it ..
