As an Alto AGS owner, I thought it is worth sharing what I went through on 20,000 inspection of my car.
At Suzuki Adil Zafar motor, I was told that following has to be done as part of scheduled inspection on 20k millage:
1) Spark plug cleaning
2) Throttle body service
3) Wheel balancing
4) Wheel Alignment
5) Break service of all 4 wheels
6) Engine oil replacement
7) Oil filter replacement
They gave me bill of 9350.
Was difficult to digest but as a new car owner and mentally prepared, I said HUN ARAM JE
Ironic as it may sound after that much care and paid amount, car idling was like Mazda Van from 1986!
My silent sound and environment friendly Alto started to sound like an old guy always high on drugs!
Instantly I told the guy who had OBD connected, "sir something is wrong, this is not how it should be and my car doesn't sound like this" and of course he was super chilled and told me to drive a bit and it will be fine.
After a week of crazy idling and fuel consumption, I went back with some research and told the guy how to reset the ECU and run diagnostic test on OBD and issue got resolved after arguing, paying money and doing research on my own.
Just waiting for this warranty to be gone and i am super done with car maintenance from Pak Suzuki...!
