Question to all karachi based owners of alto....

Have you noticed rust issues in underbelly of car. I will be receiving alto from dealership in next month. Should i get it undercoated from dealership upon delivery to prevent rust buildup due to humidity in karachi environment. Is it really worth it?

What kind of undercoating they apply? Is it tar like thick substance or 3m rubberized coating or simple black paint? And it lasts for how much duration?

Bro, I asked one dealer and he said that the new 120 days delivery notification, would NOT be applicable on old orders, taken before the notification date.

One guy here @fb2013 also got delivery of his VXL within one month.
PBO date: July end
VXL delivery date: Aug end.

It seems very strange that you booked VXL before @fb2013, but he got delivery before you, and both of you booked it from Karachi.

Installed rims in my VXR as a result of an impulse and I am happy with the decision.

I was searching for rims that would fit the stock tires and almost everyone advised against it. I didn't want to go against the recommended tire specification so I was confused for some time. I did however end up installing these with the stock tires and while I don't know about others, the car looks perfectly normal to me both in terms of drive and aesthetics.

Not only this but no dealership was taking the booking of vxl. It was my luck that this dealership called me themselves (i had dropped them my number in case bookings opened) when they received the monthly quota (given only selective dealers were being given quota as alto s booking were halted) that too in very low number.
