This is something I too have seen after July 2021 also.

Previously their are 100s of cases car being invoiced in name of a and being registered to b.

Those still count as 1st owner cars. (First registration being counted.

Their is no concept of re-invoicing as far as I know.

Since when you purchased the car Indus motors made a sale against your CNIC # that is done when you made the booking.

Later it was sold as a used car.

That is a major reason when you lease a car it should be open invoice or sale made on your / HPA banks name.

A already invoiced car is considered as "used"

• one more thing the honda dealer told me 1.5 Standard booking is avaliable for March. If you pay 80,000 Own we will get you a car from factory. Invoice on your name in 1 week.

Finaly my car has been dispatched from karachi yesterday... Created fuss at dealership for a week to get things done... Had to gather a few friends and threaten to cause chaos and suddenly sales manager knew a guy in factory who responded within minutes and gave me chassis no. And engine number lol... Right way to deal with pak suzuki is to gang up right on the day of delivery... Gather 10-15 friends and create halla gulla and you will get the car details right away... Huuuh what a bad day to be…

I was looking to buy Alto vxr and I have been given option to buy dozen of open invoice vehicles but I didn't go ahead with that instead went with booking.

In such conditions would it not be better to 'On' and get a car in a week? I'm against 'On' culture but if you wait there might be another price or tax increase. Why not buy something immediately and pay a small penalty rather than waste time and pay a bigger penalty after 120 days?

Whats the current booking status and delivery timelines for AGS?

I visited Suzuki Racecourse Motors in Rawalpindi on 28 Dec and the sales lady informed me that booking for all variants of Alto except AGS would open in January sometime. No confirmation yet about anything.

Guys what is this advance tax? Can someone explain.does everyone has to pay such amount to get car registerd?

Problem is amount is not small 145-150K own on open invoice 2021 on 31st December and 200K own on 2022 delivering in 1st or 2nd week of January 2022.

AGS is not even open for banks and no idea when it booking will open

The advance tax was imposed and excise was to collect it from a peraon who sells the car within 90 days of delivery.
This was specificaly tp curb the premium amount culture.
So no impact on person who is getting car for personal use and dont intend to sell within 90 days.

What i have understood, these are registration penalty/fee for owned/premium vehicle. So if you buy unregistered Alto on own on investor's named invoice, initially you would have to pay 50K fee/penalty on top of standard registration fee which now will be increased to 100K.

No impact on booked car and getting registered. Standard fee shall be applicable.

Its the same thing, if a car has 2 owners within 90 days of deliver the seller has to pay wht

Itw not a fee or penalty, rather wht which is fully adjustable from ur tax liability, again its not a fine etc
