BTW, the other car i drive and high displacement cars, maybe 3 or 4 times of Alto, i guess this also contributes

BTW, the yellow sticker does not recommend any oil grade inside engine room.

I removed that sticker from the engine bay

newer one donot mention any oil grade, atleast the sticker which i have donot show any oil grade mentioned on it

On topic of fuel economy
My AGS gave 21.4 in intial 1500km different pumps different qualities of fuel,in lahore. but since a long trip to bhawalpur its avg around 18 for last 1800kms... Wondor what happened... 3 month oil change due... Will go to SC tomorrow

That is great, they were using 10W 40 as universal sticker which was not universal at all, but now this is universal...

Soon they’ll start recommending 0w20 for alto and hope will update drain interval to 10k kms just like WagonR & Cultus

Never tried attock always preferred to use shell. Extremely satisfied.

Guys..what about tyre pressure? The sticker says 36 in all

Yes 36 is recommended but if you’ll keep that pressure, you’ll feel even a cotton going under your wheels. I have kept them at 28-30 and felt much better with stock euros. Around 52k driven.

28-30 is low...

If you want to keep less air pressure dont go below 32..

Its very important the tyre pressures to be kept as mentioned in the manual and as per the trye specs.

A low inflated tyre is prone to a burst as at low pressure the temperatures increase due to higher friction as the walls tend to bend more.

This higher temp exceeds the tolerance of the compound that may lead to failure.

It's best to inflate tyres according to manufacturer recomendation. For general tyres, don't go below 33psi

I was continuously getting 17.5 to 21 kmpl (20/25 liters refill for 475/500 kms.

Only when driven at home for groceries it would go down to 13.5/15 kmpl.

A single long drive would fill up for the lesser average.
