It's been a little over 2 weeks with alto vxr, so here's a small review for potential new buyers.
First of all let me tell you that it's a second car, so will be giving a lil comparison as well with city 1.3 ivtec
Exterior: it's totally upto you, but I really liked it except it's back lights which are odd and you'll get used to it
Interior : it's spacious and is of good quality, much better than mehran but can't compete with anything else. Don't get me wrong but you'll feel the cheapness of you are coming from a much expensive car, like door panels, steering horn cover etc. They all feel cheap but you'll get used to it and won't ever notice after some time just like me
Cabin noise/engine noise : comparing it to city. It's not that bad actually, yes engine noise is there but it's not that much irritating, specially after first oil change, I am hoping that it'll get better. Overall I would say it's fine and not irritating.
Power : yes it's not as powerful as other cars but I've driven a 2006 model 1.0 vitz and it feels much better than that both in terms of power as well as engine noise wise, you won't feel ever that it's under powered even with AC, though it's not for power.
Ac performance : living in Islamabad, even in this month of April, weather was very hot unfortunately and it'll get worse but the AC performance was decent. When compared to city, it's not that bad, during day time front passengers are completely cool but rear passengers would have to bear with heat of the car was parked and then driven under direct sunlight. During night time I often have to lower the blower to feel comfortable, didn't expect this.
Fuel average : it's the usp and it actually is the best thing in car, getting around 19 kmpl in islamabad with ac and moderate foot.
Visibility : the visibility of the car is awesome, the headlights have decent throw, satisfied overall
