AGS performance:
Good:
Better fuel economy
better pickup then cvt
ease of use
Manually can drive the car when needed
good behaviour when is rush while climbing a bridge
Bad:
Gerks on low rpm and shifting 1st into seconds and getting back into 1st
driving technique matters
the car tend to go on 5th while climbing a bridge or height and doesn't understand the load on engine. the gear had to be lowered into 4rth or 3rd by pumping accelerator
sometimes it remains in 1st and doesn't shift into second. i guess this is the main reason that the ags transmissions are getting damaged bcoz of the improper shifting, high gears, high load on low rpm and driving behaviour
There has to be a setting which can set the gear shifting easy. i had given my car for 5000kms service. the bill they gave says "clutch adjustment done" which means there has to be something which can adjust the clutch either manually or by software.
As for the battery. get a battery frame custom made by dentars/welders. use some better and thick metal strips like the one that comes with cng cylinder metal straps. mend them according to battery.
and rest for the number plate, USE Flate head L keys or Star keys nuts so that it can not be taken out with any plas and pana/
