Company wants you to be their regular patient after 2 years.
Take wise decision. Use 0w20 and if you are afraid then go to 5w20 as 5w30 will be heavier and will cause burden on your poor oil pump to flow heavy oil upon heating in hot days.

go to Metro safari park. buy ZIC 5w20 fully synthetic. that is directly from company. you will feel the difference as indeed it is a very good oil at right cost - it is being sold on offer there for now. otherwise, go to MM Oil near Maskan chowrangi they are original dealers of various brands so you will have plenty of options including SGO.

a new source which i discovered recently is awesome and i will be using it in future now. its Union Filter House in Ruby Plaza (Plaza market). you will get everything at dirt cheap price with guarantee of original as they are wholesellers for all filters of many brands and engine oils. the prices are very very competitive as you are saving upon taxes, retailer profits etc.

througout i was managing oiling my car from dealer and dealer using SUZUKI Oil but now 5w20 is not available

i believe you are out of warranty now.

use ZIC eyes closed and post a review of it here. make sure to use good quality oil filter. VIC is excellent made in japan - best alternative to genuine oil filter.

Personally i use Guard oil and air filter bought from metro along with oil. However, people have reservations using paki brands therefore for them VIC is made in Japan option if found original

just an update.

i have dec 2022 alto ags, about 32000 kms driven.

it developed brake caliper rattle noise around 15k kms. mandviwalla fixed it for the time being but it re appeared.

now they have replaced the brake caliper pins in WARRANTY without any issues.

similar issue has been occurring with new swift as well.

so seems like brake clipper issue i think otherwise brake works fine except that sound

no. you have different issue.

brake caliper rattle due to undersized or worn pins, is heard clearly on rough roads, and disappears on applying brakes.

your issue seems more like uneven brake pad wear or some particles caught in the brake calipers.. a simple cleaning and light sanding of the brake pads, application of proper brake pad grease and caliper pin grease should resolve the issue

I called dealer on wtsup and he told me 2pin and clipper cost is 8500 he says come here we will go for like leath machine we will repair it

i changed the brake pad like 6 month ago

i was maintaining the car through out the dealer .. this time i m going for local mechanic and zic oil .. bcz of 5w30 is not available since last month i guess and dealer charged a lot and off course this is not a big issue so

any expert alto mechanic who can do this job??

Altos have some clear and built in noises which comes after usage of few kms.

Brake calipers
Steering rack
Clutch bearing noise especially in AGS
Alternator bearing noise.

i called dealer regarding this and he gave me the no of a mechanic which deals similar type of issues

the prob is this sound comes randomly not every time.. like as per discussion its not brake clipper seems like bearing sound

please use any which is available but make sure it is 100% authentic.

Use 0w20. This will make your engine more responsive plus light on your oil pump
