People are asking around 14 lacs or more for Suzuki Alto VXL on Pakwheels website.. Insane.

Give it some time most will come to their senses. Its not something that wasnt on the road before Suzuki did us a huge favor. People just want to wash their hands in bhati gangta. Let them. I am also interested in this car via bank but have clearly told them that i would not buy it on own but rather booking. Those who want to buy should do the same.

People will come to senses with passage of time but what if prices of Alto increases due to fluctuation in Dollar & same vehicle's invoice becomes 1350k or 1400k in coming months, in that case you waited for 3-4 months to pay the amount in which you were getting the same vehicle in June 2019.
Then it will be wastage of time and money both + do not forget the inconvenience of not having the vehicle for 3-4 months.

Same here, I have recently booked VXL and I think waiting is better than paying huge amount as 'own'. Further, I have firm belief in Allah that Suzuki will not increase Alto prices substantially.

Yes at the end i wasted my four months maybe and paid more as well but at least i paid it the right way. Maybe i cant explain but its more about personal satisfaction and less about money. We need to stop supporting corrupt practices. That is all.

I am also of your opinion but not everyone can wait like us for 4 months & that too ending up paying same or more amount of money, Govt need to ensure a few things, one of them is that car manufacturers should have ready stock to deliver to customers instead of booking cars and keeping customers waiting for months.
Its been years since these car manufacturers are playing with emotions of Customers. If they want to stop the own culture, they should put a ban on transfer of ownership for first year or put a heavy fine on assets transferred within one year.

Matlab seriously where did I say cars shudnt come with safety features? Till date even in Japan fleet cars come with basic features. You probably havnt seen a F grade Vitz or a L grade Aqua, I just said AT transmission shouldn't be associated with the top of the line variant. AT transmission is more important for a driver then power windows or other fancy features.

Just to add, xli and gli now differ 2.55k, add safety remains ABS brakes only. Power windows are not a safety feature by any means.

And seriously Xli mentality, you people want every thing for free. Xli Corolls and VX alto comes cheap because of the removed features. If you want features pay more.

I dont get it way do people keep saying Xli even in 2019 doesnt has power windows. Duh pay more to get a Gli or if u want power pack down grade to Honda City.

I had booked my car in april and have submitted balance amount on 21jun at Suzuki South, Karachi. The form had 23jun as tentative delivery date. According to dealer, vehicle registration would be done by them as it was written in remarks in initial form of april.
And I would have to pay approx. Rs18000 for registration and Rs4000 for service charges. Has any one encountered this from dealer? and what is take of PakSuzuki on this? Is the amount they are asking for is a fair demand??

So Suzuki stealerships charging Rs 4000 or more for just registering your car and getting you number plate which you won't get before 1 or 2 months these days because of the issues in excise and your vehicle documents would also come to your home after 1 month. (For punjab only. Not sure about other provinces). So is this 4000 justifiable when you could register your vehicle yourself in just 10 minutes? You only need form-f, original vehicle certificate, receipt of sale and photocopy of your CNIC. That's it. All dues and taxes are now paid within excise office and you don't need to go to the bank and you also don't need parasitic agents. (This is true for Lahore excise department. Not sure about other cities and provinces)

You still could tell dealership that you will register your vehicle yourself and they should provide you all documents. It's 100 percent possible. People should stop relying on these scumbag dealers and agent mafia for getting everything done.
