Took test drive today of Vxl, car is good response wise many Jdm 660 i have driven they keep screaming but Don't accelerate this was screaming too but Acceleration was real good
Ac is also Good at blower 3 onwards on two it was okish
Ags transmission i felt is laggy for some overtakes I had to full press the throttle to get the thing done also when fully pressed it will downshift gear but when i lifted my foot after fully pressing throttle it went to 3rd (from 2nd gear) then 4th ,then 5th within seconds means keep throttling for efficient gear shift or manual shift also gud
One funny thing everyone at dealership was saying different time of wait one said 2 month ,other guy said 2.5 but when i asked 3-4 months bhi lg saktey both said yes i was like wt* dude..

postive points about this car

-very good engine
-very good AGS transmission. when give light foot its goes to 5the gear ion 40 KM and when pushes hard its reves very good.
-very comfortable seats
-very good leg space
-very good interior
-very comfortable suspension

negative points.
-AC not good or up to benchmark of wagon R (used same AC of Imported Alto, which is not for Pakistan environment)
-very less boot space
-no spare tyre
-back light at bottom of back bumpper

Spare tyre will be an issue for those who will be using this car as their only car.
For 2nd or 3rd car it will not matter that much, although it should have been there.

Spare tire should never by an issue if people learn how to fix punctured tire. It is very easy and should literally take 5 - 10 minutes to do it even on the road.

Besides if tire goes flat on highway, fill it up with air pump and you still would be able to drive another few kilometers to reach nearest puncture shop / petrol pump (although not recommended as it could damage the tire)

non of this is required. suzuki has provided a bottle which has a liquid in it. once you have a punctured tyre just connect that bottle with tyre nozzle and squeeze it. the liquid will heal any opening of the rubber and then your the pump to inflate the tyre. Voila. its this easy.

5th gear on speed of 40.dont u think its going to damage the engine.

Oh I thought suzuki was providing that puncture kit that contains sticky rubber strips for repair.

So they are providing this puncture repair solution. Well you need to remove nozzle pin first, put almost 200-300 ml liquid inside, then rotate tyre several times so that it evenly spreads inside and block all holes. You need to remove nails from tyre first. You can do it on road with already punctured tyre but the best solution is to put that provided solution in all tyres now and that will automatically fix punctures in future.

Check this video. It works with all kinds of tubeless tyres (ignore video title and thumbnail. This imbecile has put such title and thumbnail only to gain more views. It's about that puncture solution)

At 40 it is in D3....not D5...once it is above 60 and u just maintain constant pres on accel then it move to D5

No driving with low rpm and high gear is not problem....however accelerating on high gears will damage the transmission.

Update

Dealers will be receiving open invoiced Alto Vxl Ags Automatic in coming week & the own will come down. So anyone trying to loot common public by asking 100k or plus own are left with one week of party. Then the game will be in hands of dealers, their party will start.

I got my alto vxr today Alhamdulillah. I had a suzuki swift 1.3 earlier and now I have this alto and pkdm wagon r vxl. Car is awesome Mashaa Allah. Head room is a bit short compared to WR. Leg room is equal to WR and more than swift. AC`s performance is almost equal. I am saying almost because weather was overcast and windy (lahore) when I drove it home. Complete AC performance will only be judged during a hot sunny day. Pick of car is 90% to Wagon R (2018 model). Road grip and drive is better than WR and almost equal to swift. Suspension performance is almost equal to Gli/Xli on potholes and cat eyes. One thing with AC though, it trips when car accelerates.

And no way the engine in this car is 39 hp. It has to be 54 hp. It goes to 100 easily on 4th gear.
