Actually it is not felt underpoer in plain roads...problem is felt when u try to change gear in M modes in چڑھائی ۔۔۔ u feel obvious jerk...so having a test drive for short time...and driving your own car in چڑھائی is going to give to totally different experience so that is why @hash737 comment will be a value here

The car is not underpowered.
It's the dim witted gearbox that gives you that impression, the auto clutch system in this particular AGS is very laggy and jerky. Plus, it is tuned for max fuel economy so it is always eager on the upshifts and a tad reluctant on the downshift. Can't really blame Pak Suzuki since the JDM version with AGS isn't much better in this regard.

Their is no point of AGS being underpowered it's the same thing. If it was CVT and you said the pick isnt the same I would agree.

Yes you cannot make a pickup screech on this transmission. Other than that its 100% the same setup you can even race a vxr and a AGS if you like

This technology isnt going anywhere and is not to be obsolete anytime soon.

Sorry to burst the bubbles but amt/ AGS is prone to multiple failures. Don't trust it while overtaking, hill climbing etc. The constant engagement of clutch by actuators at shorter intervals will wear out clutch sooner. I hope this all prove wrong and may not cause nuisance to customers

I don't think it would be discarded. Instead it would be improved and fine tuned to eliminate jerks and lags. Suzuki is not the only company employing AMT or so called AGS, other auto manufacturers have also started using this tech.

No transmission can give you the reliability of a manual car on hi steps or over takings on highways.

This 660cc dinky wont do much in such a situation too. Just that you can fiddle with the clutch when ever you need a little more tweak power.

The AGS is definitely not going to sell in hi numbers nor it is selling. VXR is the best seller here definitely. Who ever needs a shopping trolley the AGS is definitely a best buy.

About reliability, 3 saal to kuch b nae bolti. That's why you have warranty right.

i just notice my alto ags gear lever move up and down without pressing button.. this is normal or any fault ? bcz its seem little riski

In automatic cars, you can move shifter from R to N, N to D, D to N without pressing the button.

I submitted the payorder (full amount) on 30 July. Couple of queries as the provisional booking order doesn't say anything about delivery date.
1. How long does it take to get the tentative delivery date?
2. Is there any way to followup/cross check from pak Suzuki directly?

Send an email at customercentre@paksuzuki.com.pk and ask them. Do attach the provisional booking order form with your email.

just drove 50km .. 2 things i didnt like that much .too much engine sound even woth light foot...and not mch smooth gear shifting .. i guesss it will improve after some time..its still in running period

can we install any any sheet under the hood to reduce some engine sound ..
