bro did you find out the reason that why did the old one backfired?

They were broken plus earth issues, so they were back firing, I used them with insulation tape taped all over the pillars/rod for a long time and they worked fine, but i had to repair piston seals so mechanic removed it and they started back firing again. I changed them this time.
