got mine yesterday. few initial impressions:

Pros
1. Seats are very comfy
2. Stock speakers are pretty good
3. Pick of the car is certainly better than XLI even at higher gears
4. Mileage already moved to about 11 km/litre with AC after around 40 km of drive
5. Seats 3 way adjustable
6. Very smooth gear shifting for a new car (it has manual transmission)

Cons
1. Headlights though projected but at long beam not better than xli
2. Didnt feel AC chilling, may be it will improve, its not bad though

How is your impression of the suspension? The biggest plus point of Corolla in my opinion is its suspension. If the Ciaz has a soft suspension like Corolla, that could be a big plus.

corolla doesnt have soft suspension in my opinion, ciaz has much better one

Corolla has very soft sudpension. Latest model provides a very classic driving experience

i was driving 2017 corolla, it didnt have a soft suspension, dont know about the latest one but i still doubt they made any change to suspension

Congrats brother. Ac cooling of ciaz is too good. Remove the plastic covers from the seats and you will feel an improvement I’m sure. Got the 1000 Inspection done today of my Ciaz , they checked the nut bolts and to my surprise cleaned the spark plugs too , though not needed but it was their SOP I guess.
It’s fuel av is 15 kms with mix driving , Ac on. Mine is auto. Your cars mileage will improve within 500 kms IA.

I’ve have kept grande for a year. Ciaz suspension plus handling is much better than Corolla. Corolla swivels on sharp turns while Ciaz stays pretty stable even on its original narrow tires.

guys is it just me or the cabin insulation of ciaz is pretty awesome. i came back after 2 hours last night and the car was still cool inside

i am loving the drive od this car, much better drive than xli in every aspect.

however i am still confused about mileage, it is showing avg around 10.5 km/litre, when will i see it improve to something like 13 km/litre? i have done around 150 km so far

My car is now driven 1100 kms , giving me 15 km/l mixed driving , got it inspected at 1000 kms , I’m sure your car should give better mileage as it’s manual. Hope you are not driving it with a very heavy foot.
