According to PakWheels Picanto expert's review it's between 13.5 to 15.5km/l(in winters). And according to some PakWheel's owner review they are not getting more than 11.5km/l(auto variant without AC).
Whereas Cultus claims ~22km/l but in actual I'm getting 18-19km/l(auto variant w/o AC in Lahore)

Kia Picanto have Conventional auto transmission with high maintenance cost in long term and more fuel consumption but better comfort while cultus have AGS which slightly higher maintenance then manual Transmission.and less fuel consumption.

Hi everyone, so i just bought Cultus VXR 2018 a month ago.
I wanted to know
- Recommended Engine oil for cultus
- Where to purchase it in Lahore ?
- Secondly, how you deal with the minor scratches on the car ? What should i use, any scratch remover or something ?

Engine oil: 0w-20, any reputable brand like zic, shell, total, mobil 1, valvoline, liquimoly, amsoil and kendall etc
for warranty, stick to suzuki 0w-20
Where to purchase: please choose one, will tell you from where you can get that
(Btw I'm using amsoil 0w-20, In lhr, express lube have amsoil)
Regarding scratches, please attach pics, will recommend the product accordingly

Thanks for the response Saqib bhai. I think previous owner was using 10W-40 Kixx engine oil. Should i continue with that ? I just went through the Suzuki booklet and it says 0w-20 is for low temperature, like we have these days. Also the owner said he was changing Kixx oil after 5k kms.
What's the quality and cost of Suzuki's oil ? Also, the suzuki's engine oil last for 3k kms right ? If i decide to go with Suzuki oil, where can i get one in Lahore ?
I am thinking to either go with Suzuki or Kixx , please suggest if Kixx is a good choice ?

Btw what average are you getting from your cultus ? what's the model ?

Please get rid of 10w40 as soon as possible
Get 0w-20
You will observe better response and fuel average
Suzuki 0w-20 fully synthetic (total) is available on dealership
It's packed by total, just normal oil, nothing special
Recommended interval is 5K kms
Regarding kixx, yes it's fine
From personal experience, will recommend you amsoil 0w-20 signature series (currently using)
I didn't find any better oil than this in market
My car,it's vxl 2017, 30K odo, getting 17-18 in lhr within city

Ah okay, i will go for 0w-20. Brother where can i get amsoil 0w-20 in Lahore & cost ? Also where do you get ur air filters from ?
Secondly, have you done anything for keeping your bumper from scratches ? I don't understand why i see scratches on bumpers every other week despite that i drive very carefully.

They've amsoil
Location, airport road lhr
Cost: I got gallon (3.78L) for 7800
It's recommended for 700 hours/1 year/24K kms in severe, whichever comes first
My change interval is 10k kms/450 hours/9 months
Calculate intervals for yourself accordingly
Regarding filters, I use geniune oil and air filters
10K interval for both
Regarding scratches, I do nothing
I've 10+ slight scratches, bcoz of bikers and rickshaws
Just live with it

picanto build quality is miles ahead of suzuki. I mean just look at cultus new seats, they wont even give a proper headrest.

I'm using cultus 19 model driven almost 8000 kms. Its gear has a light humming (goong sound) sound when driven in 1st and 2nd gear upto the speed of 30 or 40. Is it normal? As the suzuki ppl wer saying that its normal. But isn't it annoying sound? Another opinion was that it will go away after some more milage. however i had already changed the gear oil. Just wana ask if this is normal sound in all the new model cultus then its ok or is it a probkem. Any views pls.
