Cars dont just loose coolant/heat up as they wish......try to find out the root cause of why this happened instead of just commenting on pathetic build quality......analyse/diagnose with ur friend the problem, then share ur findings here, if it was a manuf fault or dealership fault or any roadside mechanic fault(highly unlikely for a new car obv but still).

We will be happy to blame PS/whoever else, after u share the cause of this heatup

Another thing, the heat up sign did not appear on speedometer.

Definitely we are going to try our best to find out the root cause. The lockdown initiates at 7 o clock here in Sindh, everything closes by then. We will be taking his car to dealership first thing in morning.

Thats weird.....so how did u find out it heated? Car stopped? AC stopped? Or?.....aftr how much time u guys realised and stopped the car....i dont think gasket wud blow this quick.

I hope the car had coolant in it, not water.
I hope It was maintained through dealership preferably.
I hope car was not hit from front underside due any stone, kerb, etcn damaging radiator etc.

Alson remembr, to not cool down the Radiators or engine by pouring water....wait for atleast 15 20 mins for it to cool down itself.

Car was maintained through Zeeshan Autos Hyderabad. It is a Suzuki 3s dealership. Car had coolant in it, no water was ever poured. Never has this car been hit, even the front bper is still in genuine paint.

Steam started coming put from bonnet and ac stopped working, that is when we realized the car is heating up but the heat up sign had not lit up. We brought it to road side let it cool for 15 mins then kept a cloth on radiator cap, kept pouring cold water on it and started unlocking it. A lot of steam came out rushing, the radiator was found to be completely dry. For now we filled it water to bring it to home.

Take it to dealership and claim it in warranty if that is still valid. It seems like a factory defect.

Our new Mehran also developed this same fault after 2 years of use.
However, it didn't use to heat up on plain areas, it used to heat up on hills only. But no representation on gauge.
Radiator cap replaced, but problem was not resolved.
Removed the thermostat and it was partially stuck. Like it was allowing 50% coolant to flow from engine to radiator. Replaced it with genuine part and issue was resolved.
In your case, I think the head gasket is burnt as you have indicated the presence of foam and bubbles.

The problem was a stuck valve. It was closed shut and wont open. Got it replaced. Also replaced the coolant with suzuki premixed one after getting the radiator serviced. The mechanic at zeeshan autos said the gasket is fine. Lets see how it goes now, told him about the symbol not lighting up, they kept making excuses.

Darn that valve....i hope there was no damage done to gasket as u did not delay to stop while driving.

Still, chk again for bubbles/foam.

Get the temp sensor checked also.

Dear yash i totally agree with u and after sales service of zeeshan autos is just icing on the cake.i bought cultus 2018 new shape zero meter from zeeshan autos and its ac gas leaked thrice in a year.and there service was as terrible as with u.i had to sell tht car after one year as i couldnt bear tht car.this car has pathetic build quality and all of issues mentioned by u are present in this car.i guess except fr fuel economy and resale this car hasnt much to offer

Fuel economy is the only thing that has led people in to buying it in masses.

An update; changing the valve didnt prevent the heating issue. Probably the gasket is actually busted, car heated up again while standing at a signal with ac on.

Hi, I have Cultus AGS 2019 model which gives me a mileage of 13.5 km/l in a city with AC. Can anyone tell me why this low?

Also, my daily drive is in a city with 30-50 km/h speed with a lot of breaking. When I used to drive daily from Rawalpindi to Islamabad to and fro it gives me 16-17 km/l. is it because of the speed or a lot of breaking or any other issue?
