How many parts needed to upgrade from inside.

The right blank space is for the cruise control, any plan for it?

Previously, the person sent me an entire steering leather wrapped with both side controls and also telephone (answer / Cancel / Bluetooth) buttons on the left under side.

Cruise control as far as i searched doesn't work in this car so i didn't bother using them. Some how my installer was a noob and he said the buttons don't work. (one can use those buttons for other audio controls thou.

Later i got single side buttons blank and Silver trim, So i installed these.

The installer later realized Suzuki and Toyota buttons work differently then Honda and he accepted his mistake.

No alteration as such, You just need a multimedia spiral cable (charkhi) mostly people retro fit Toyota Charkhi (grips are same the hole needs to be filled a bit), I managed to get a Suzuki Charkhi but it was broken to fit, Later we agreed upon using the Toyota Charkhi fortunately airbag wire was grip to grip (else a toyota charkhi might need airbag wire cuting (my orignal charkhi is with me)

Some wires need splicing to make the multimedia inlet work rest is grip to grip.

Mechanics don't like Cultus or Alto because of low weight. City and Picanto are heavy weight only because their old generations are launched in Pakistan. Every new generation car is becoming lighter and lighter in weight to improve fuel economy. If latest generation Picanto and City were launched in Pakistan, mechanics would reject that too, saying that "buhut halki chadar hey"

If the original tyres have reached to replacement age then swap them with new one of same brand and specs.

There is no need to go for fancy names and sizes.

Glad to see that your RPM issue with A/c got resolved but guide further about 2 out of your 4 remedy actions, how you did Re-calibration of Throttle body & PCV cleaning? Are both DIY easily?

Do you have any idea about warranty intact if Cultus got accidented within warranty period while repaired at same dealership. Will they entertain warranty claim. What is PS policy in this regard?

Full leather steering with spiral costs aproxx 15/16,000

Can't share the diagram. The installer did it.

The spiral has wires coming, 3 to 5 wires need splicing and connecting.

Rest all is grip to grip.

The original spiral that comes with Cultus has only single wire horn connection. Hence you need a multimedia spiral.

The dealership repairs as per the factory specs, if all electrical and mechanical parts that the dealership used are OEM then the overall warranty will remain active. This you can also check from the service manager.

Got the TB recalibration done via scanner from a local efi repair shop.

PCV valve cleaning is pretty simple job, simply blast it with carb cleaner & make sure that the valve is working properly, & only allowing one way flow.

Aoa, firstly thanks to all member's for sharing such a knowledge its really worth reading. I'm new here and recently bought Cultus 08 and very happy to join this thread. Its my first car, and really like to learn and maintain it as much as i can. As its a used car I'm getting these two issue right now and would like to hear if somebody find and fixed it as well. Thanks in Advance.

1. RPM (Normally on first start rpm raise up to 2 and in few minutes get back to 1.5-1.6)
   Issue
   Basically when i put car in gear and move it forward rpm get back and start from 1 up till i rev according to gear. So explaining it in simple words when i raise clutch and if leave gas as well still car kept moving with rpm 1.5.
   I'm not facing any rpm drop or raise issue with turning Ac or lights etc (mentioned my someone else before in this thread). Have recently changed plugs, filter, oil and done cleaning of throttle body as well in tuning.

2. AC
   Issue
   When i start Ac a sound comes from engine bay i think its belt but not know exactly and also Ac button having issue which is light of AC button on when pressed with little force and get off soon released..

Yes they run separately from factory, people do it to protect engine from overheating, changing this will not effect and engine will not run colder with ac on, as there is thermostat valve to maintain engine temperature...

Since you have kept both Alto AGS and Cultus, how do you compare the following aspects:
1) AC Performance
2) Rear Seat Comfort
3) Ground Clearance
4) Suspension
5) Stability after 110 kmph

How is the performance of AGS in Cultus. I never heard of any complaint in AGS Alto but watched some videos on youtube in which Cultus owners said they had to claim warranty of AGS several times

I have kept Wagonr 2018, Alto 2019, Cultus 2022.

1) AC is similar with Alto and Cultus, Wagonr AC i feel is better.
2) Alot better, Cultus has better compared to Alto and WagonR.
3) Similar (Cultus/Alto have similar, Wagonr is higher) alto has advantage of shorter wheel base.
4) Suzuki suspension is similar, rear seats jumps are a lot better in Cultus
5) Took it 140 very stable on factory tire and alignment (Cultus and Alto both are stable at speeds 140). Wagonr with tires 165/70r13 is better.

Cultus's AC tends to trip more quickly as you push it beyond 3000/3500 RPMS

All the features are concluded well by @chinyoti in the above post. I will add that.

1. AGS is ok to drive not much complaints, just you have to adopt to its shifting. 2nd gear pickup gives a little jerk as per the AGS programing.

2. Car remains planted even on 160, have good torque at high RPM too so reaches 160 and above quite quicker then others in same category.
