I have the same opinion. I kept Wagon R for 2.5 year and have been using Cultus since last 8 months.

Have taken Wagonr upto lahore, did its job pretty well.

I personally never liked Wagonrs shape specially if it's the only car one owns.

For office work, tight spaces, loading work related items its a good car. ( good upgrade from Mehran or Alto in a decent amount of money).

Sold Alto for 16, VAVA cars offered me 17 (i think i could bargain more) But i guess i had a good deal.

Cutlus had 250/300 Own + 100 Registration fine.

Got Cultus on Control price same day 22,44,000

PS : Also i paid them in Cash / Cq the difference amount between Alto and Cultus.

Somehow today was 5 minutes away from office and a sudden whooing sound started coming.

I thot someone was behind me horning with a hooter.

Later fiddling with the AC I realized I was my cars radiator/AC fan.

Don't know what happened. While coming back didn't turn on the AC, at stand still the fan came on on Automatic made sound cooled down.

Will take it to the dealership in the morning. Any one else faced a similar issue.

My bad luck, on inspection found this today morning.

Later called insurance, while leave office I found the radiator leaking. Till I reached the dealership red/hot light started flashing.

Somehow parked it, topped it up with water reached the dealership. Parked it their handed over the car.

I dont know what happened, how did It happen, the car literally has no physical damage.

On initial inspection it looks like condenser and compressor went goo-goo

Tomorrow morning, insurance surveyor will visit.

I hope it gets fixed in time.

It looks as if there was an impact with a rock or other object while the vehicle was on the move. Oddly you did not notice any sound?

I had a my windshield damaged with a small rock while moving. Covered in insurance otherwise the Cultus Windshiled costs Rs26,500 in first quarter only. I paid 10% only and labor charges were also covered by insurance!

I hope your claim gets approved too!

Im honestly not aware what happend, Maybe someone vandalized it, and the radiator fan came further back on my way to office.

Maybe their was stone damage, But their is no entry / exit damage any where not on the front not on the bumper also the under the car is clear, Just some scratches on the front left under body, I doubt it thoose scratches are very recent.

The surveyor told me to give him a written statement, Since he said he isnt able to justify since no accident is traceable.

i told him, I took a rod and hit it, I love doing this to new cars

He responds " sir hamari b nokeri hai, Justify kerna perta hai" i told him damage to damage hai, Something hit it and went out, i obviusly didnt do it intentionally, What do i get coming and going on careem.

He said, give me a written statement ill see what can be done.

It appears vandalism that someone hit with iron bar for no reason. Vague chances that while paralled parked some loader vehicle with load of long pointed objects bumped in, when you were away, causing the leak.

Good thing that you identified the damage on time. The surveyor are very ill aware of the situations, they have sets of scenarios that front hit will look like this while rear hit will be like that so on and so forth, bring any situation outside and their software with hang.

This is correct that true situation is considered a fairytale in their world.

When someone just smashes headlight with hammer to get it replaced it is considered evidence of an accident.

it's upto you
company recommendation is 10k, which I don't personally recommend to anyone
my preference will be, 1st change at 1k odo, later on 7500kms/6 months

Yes, just today got approval from the insurance.

Suzuki gave a estimate of around rs. 104,000

Insurance wasn't accepting the claim since no physical damage. Later they offered me a 50/50 settlement.

I inquired outside for parts. In lum sum with genuine parts total work would cost around 60k.

Thailand condenser 12000
Genuine condenser 31500

Radiator local / Chinese copy rs. 9000
Genuine radiator rs. 21500

Gas charging, Coolant, misc would cost roughly rs.10,000

Finally settled with insurance company at 30/70.

I went as far as canceling my insurance policy and repairing the car outside. Later settled down and agreed upon repairing at 30/70 from Suzuki since its a 3 month old car. And I don't plan to sell it anytime soon.

Suzuki says arranging the parts will take around 3 days and 1 day for fitting I am assuming I should get it by Thursday next week.
