I got the car delivered on Saturday to the buyer I had found, VXR White. The own/premium I negotiated with buyer was 35k, as my cousin took over the delivery and balance payment (Though I posted a premium free offer on this thread somewhere above but members didn't avail it in time)

Dealership was asking 50k on their cars incase of VXR.

For VXL they said Blue available without premium and remaining colors for 10-15k with White and Gray being at 15k and Silver at 10k. By the way I did drive the car a bit and I must say I was impressed with its immediate driving feel for its respective category.

This was at Suzuki Cantt motors. By the way worst Suzuki dealership of Lahore. My advice to all members is that when central head office books your car, force them and put a condition to not allot your booking to Cantt Motors.

bro 2nd gear is not shifting at all..i went to dealer yesterday their mechanics checked it and found that there is some problem. now they are contacting pak suzuki to correct it as the car is under warranty.

ugh! gears of brand new car are failing. Way to go Sanduki. You are charging 14 lac for this car and selling garbage to people.

Another member racerali told that his car AC was not cooling properly. I hope his problem is fixed now.

Does Sanduki have got any quality control department here?

I am also active in Wagon R thread and found that windscreen cracking due to pressure build up in cabin and engine valve seals issue are common with that car. So Suzuki Pakistan is producing their expensive cars with no proper quality check. Engines in brand new cars should never cause any problem. In other countries, every newly assembled engine is run for few hours to test that properly for faults. But here I am suspecting suzuki is installing engines right after they are assembled and without proper testing.

Is this joke of a year that when ever car runs in rain your gear get stuck, really a shit, shit manufacturer, so why they have installed wipers on Cultus, if cant be used in rain !!!!! oh waow....

I have experience of driving gli 08 , city 13 & cultus vxl 17 as an owner. Honestly, gli 2008 was recently replaced with cultus by my office.
Coming from 1300 to 1000 cc vehicle for commuting purpose daily is a surprising experience for me. Cultus has a pathetic interior even as compared to its prev model. AC is not good at all as compared to prev model. Handling is better. Comfort is good. Shocks are better than Honda city infact way better. Fuel average is good. Pick is good.
Engine wise better than than gli 08 and lesser than city.
BTW just car was handed over to me on 25 July from dealership so I might be wrong as driven not enough cultus.

I might have read it has power steering but considering the wheel size and after driving it, I am not convinced that it has power steering.

I has got electric power steering which gets hard with increase in car's speed. If it is hard when the car is standing still then check your tyre pressure. If tyre pressure is alright and it is still hard then get it checked from Suzuki 3S. It shouldn't be hard.

The condition of roads are also not good. While standing on potholes and broken roads, people try to turn the steering and find it hard and blame the power steering. While they don't understand that road is the actual reason why power steering is not performing well.

You are comparing old cultus and new cultus or your old gli with new cultus? Because believe me there is no comparison between new and old cultus. Old cultus just got steering wheel and 4 wheels. Everything is pathetic in old cultus. I own it so i know it well.

You are right. Comparison should have been drawn between same class. I, too, owned old cultus a few years ago. Old cultus has good interior, I mean no cheap plastic. Similarly AC was better. Road grip was better.
But this one has better mileage, audio system, seats/ capacity and without any doubt high performance engine.

I also think VXL is value for money as it is coming with two air bags, abs, alloy rims, fog lights, great cosmetic looks, boot tray, 60/40 split seat, automatic side mirror for only 141000 above VXR price, abs and airbags make this amount worth investing.
VXR is overly priced junk.

6609 How are the brakes of VXR as they are not Abs. Are they sufficient for car of such good power and pick?
