City 1.3mt 1533+40k will be 1573 with registration and that is worth every bit additional 160k. Only downside is booking and delivery period of over 6 months.

Sir tax is 50k for filer, and that too adjustable so non existent for a person like me who pays more than that in annual tax returns so I will get it re-imbursed. And about the own, well I can wait for something that is better value for money. Not everyone buys at own.

Corolla added 70K for a facelift, modified interior, Airbags (02 Nos.), Pretension-er and ISO child lock and you want to say that VXL SHITZUKI is expensive because of 02 Airbags, that should not have been 40k max, secondly VXR is freakishly high priced, so basing that VXL is justified is baseless. Wow... so for the sake of alloy rims one should prefer a Cultus? According to this notion: Civic base model hardtop is a pathetic car compared to Cultus as well because that too doesn't have alloy rims. Sorry bro but that is such a lame logic.

Stop finding excuses to defend something which majority thinks isn't good value for money. You shouldn't be bothered if you are satisfied with a Cultus VXL and its price but please respect opinion of other people and stop imposing your preference.

With all due respect this is a public forum and giving an opinion has nothing wrong. Kindly report the post and ask pakwheels admins to delete them if giving an opinion is wrong.

And being an owner doesn't mean you don't talk about pros and cons of something you own. That's the whole point of this website and Pakwheels to inform realities and share information. Please click the report button if its against the rules. I love to point out negatives of a car I own or want to buy because at the end, final result is a selection and rejection of positive and negative things in a car. The heavier side wins. So please take a chill pill and try to understand the point of these forums please. This is not an advertisement website where you can only highlight marketing lines and plus points.

Facts shouldn't be denied. Its the feedback which gives market and buyers an honest advice. Else every thread here would be nothing but a collection of praises and no advice for anyone.

Only discussing the price of the car does not fall in the category of "pros and cons"!
No one here is discussing about the engine, the quality of plastic used(pathetic ) in interior, fuel consumption etc.
One more thing, the very last model of cultus, which had nothing in it as compared to its "modern" rivals, was selling like hotcakes at a price of above 1.1 million, agree?! tau seedhi si baat hai kay new model ki price above 1.2 honi thi!
And I'm not in favour of this Celerio considering the price point but considering the market dynamics with no competitor in 1000 CC segment of automobiles "Yeh tau hona hi hai"!
2009 wali baat sarcastic thi kay 5th gen zaroor leni hai jab pata hai kay 2018 mein 6th aa jaani hai!

I hope kay Honda Atlas aur IMC ko bhi khayal aa jaye thora sa and they introduce hatchbacks in Pakistan!

There is a lot of difference between the variant you are quoting as 1.2 and the variant being criticised being 1.4 million.

And price is one of the most major factors in a car. Higher price of a car is the biggest con for it.

Cultus was replaced b swift, not celerio. So you cannot say that for the gimmick played by Shitzuki. If tomorrow they label celerio as kizashi and sell it for 5.1 million and will you say that since outgoing model was 5 so 5.1 is justified. please do a comparison of the dimension of the vehicles in question. celerio is replacing the 1000cc alto, mind you we still are using the first gen alto (aka mehran) so if tomorrow Shitzuki launches the new shape alto with a brand name of swift will you argue that it should be priced above 1.4milion?

First of all, start respecting the companies! If you can't then just don't talk about them!
Secondly, agar aik company aik ki production band kar kay ussi segment mein ussi naam se koi car laati hai tau woh ussi ko hi replace kareygi na!
And meine nahi kaha kay above 1.2 is justified, what I was saying kay old cultus ko kyun 1.13 mein khareed rahey thay? Was that 1.13 justified? No, obviously not. Instead people was going crazy when PS introduced so called "Special Edition" of cultus! And now, they are criticizing the price! Yeh kya baat hui?
And I'm not that dumb kay 2.4L ki jagah agar 1.0L laayen tau mein ussay 2.4L wali price mein loon! Segment Segment ki baat hoti hai!

My point exactly segment segment ki baat hae, Celerio is not in the same segment as of Cultus/swift that was the replacement. This rebranding is gimmick to play on market value. I asked to compare the dimension of previous cultus. they both are in different categoy.
It was you who said that if the old cultus was selling heavy (not true) as it was on ready delivery on most dealership at 1129 then new should be atleast 12 that is what Shitzuki has done.

If Toyota ends the current xli, bring in yaris sedan and calls it all new corolla will you justify the price increase of 150k. both are sedan both same segment. cant get the same comparison for Shitzuki as it does not have any similar example.

Outgoing cultus was a much larger car compared to this celerio.

I was on the lookout for a good small hatch and Celerio seemed the perfect fit, But PS Effed it with insane pricing, every vehicle is worth its features for the price. Celerio is indeed feature rich but not worth 1391 by any stretch of imagination. Hope it serves the owners well but my opinion is that Shitzuki is looting and using the monopoly in its favor.
