I did check Swift and steering was not adjustable. Not sure why, maybe i could not find its lever to adjust. Also, i did not need 1300cc car, 1000cc was sufficient for me.

Honestly, i did not like the seating of swift, don't know why but its kinda feel not comfy to me.

Main reason to opt cultus is fuel average. Else swift is better option amongst other features and performance

I am unable to understand why people try to impose their mindset on others? Why don't they accept other's opinion as their opinion even when he is telling everytime that he doesn't like the seats and don't want powerful engine but still they are telling him that he missed powerful engine and good seats. It is insane.

I will, inshaAllah, go on my first highway trip on my new cultus, Jan 5th purchase. So, i went to a tyre shop. Surprise surprise!

All four tyres had different air pressure, ranging between 26 and 32 psi. Recommended prssure is 36/33 for light load and 38/38 for heavy load.

Keeping in mind the hardness of my stock tyres, I went with 34 psi in all tyres. Made the car slightly more bouncy, but not all that uncomfortable and much more fun to drive than before.

Anybody else driving on stock tyres? I would recommend them to have their tyres' pressure checked as well. It would also be great if they shared the air pressure used and its results. Thanks

Check the right door. Exact psi is written there for each car.

But people all around have been giving negative remarks about stock tyres. They are too "hard" is the universal statement. So, I am a bit confused about the right pressure.

I took the safer option of slightly under-inflating the front tyres.

Any recommendations would be welcome (if given politely). Thanks

No issue with stock Tyre with suggested pressure.

Go to any Paint Shop, Ask for Body Compound, Take a clean piece of cloth and rub it properly on all the marks.

God so many experts here. Compound alone can not fix the part where paint is gone and plastic/metal from underneath is visible.

Today my mechanic told me a new cultus was hit from tyre at road and
it's kenchi was broken. He said I was shocked for cheap quality that it
was new car????

Yeah. I take my words back where I said this car is free from troubles and a marvelous piece of technology. It's a piece of sh*t for the price we may. I am quite sure within few years this car will start falling apart. It's build quality is no where equal to Wagon R which is sold for much lower price. At least Wagon R has got better AC compared to this Trash Can.

Why i chose cultus over swift:
1)First of all fuel average, today i went to my village and got 19km/l without ac so thats a big edge..
2)Secondly swift lies in 1.5l category like new city as its 1323cc (don't know exactly its engine but its slightly more than 1300 which makes it to fall in 1500cc category) , being a non-filer anual token for Islamabad is around 11500/- ( i used to pay that for my previously owned honda city 1.5 steermatic), while in the case of cultus (998 cc) its significantly less 2500-3000 i guess, for punjab u can even get life time token as its under 1000cc
3) Thirdly I didn't want to invest in a decade old shape of swift which is going to change in a year or so..which is also equipped with decade old features, not even air bags
4) Build quality of all locally assembled cars are almost same, believe me i own 2016 Fortuner TRD and 2017 Gli Auto..(gli is a bit better but fortuner is total disappointment)
5) what i really found good about new cultus is its ease in maneuvering in city.. its quite a handy type of car
6) what u really get in zero meter car is piece of mind and dealership support, and just periodic maintenance

So Its really upto u which car u go for..!!
Everyone has its own choice and preferences..
Choose ur car wisely and respect others choice and preference​

Aoa. Came back from my first trip to Rawalpindi and Islamabad - from Abbottabad - on my cultus vxr. This has brought its overall average up significantly, which has made me really happy.

Heater was really good. Pickup was just about the same as I experienced on my Cuore, just an opinion. Turning radius was much better than Cuore, more like Alto vxr.

Easily maintained 110 kph on motorway at around 3000 rpm. Tyre noise was a bit of a disappointment. Another good thing was that when I turned on the AC for some time during the day it did not put much load on the engine.

Overall, I am satisfied and grateful to Allah that I got a nice car. I hope if someone disagrees, then he will do so in a civilised manner.

These are my personal views and do not want to say that my car is the best, and other people's cars are bad. Every car has its pros and cons, plus its also a question of personal preference and choice.

I will not name any names. But using loose language to describe a car owned by someone else may be good for hurting that person's feelings, but clearly demonstrates a lack of objectivity and dearth of civilised arguments. None of our locally assembled cars and second hand imports can be described as perfect. So we should not make fun of others' choices and just discuss the merits and demerits of cars like mature adults. Thanks

So how would you compare cultus to honda city....which is the better car considering pick, fuel efficiency and driving comfort...

Aoa dear @hayatumer82. I have never personally driven city but used to travel in a friend's city some time back. Pick of City would be better. Comfort of cultus, in my opinion, is almost same. Mileage of Cultus is better. Overall, City is a better car: Poweful engine, brakes, trunk space etc.
But
I have Cultus VXR worth 12.75 lacs, and I ud say in current car market situation of Pakistan I am satisfied.

PS My friend's City used to hit a particular hump outside our place of work, while my cuore and alto vxr used to sail over it. So, road clearance might be an issue with City. My friend always said that he ud put bigger tyres or place spacers, but he never did

Nice economy you got over there. How much do you get in city generally? And how much have you driven in total?

Thanks dear. Just done a total of approx 400 km, so still early days. My "guess" is that it does around 15 km per liter in Abbottabad city, (extremely congested nowadays), not sure yet. But, highway mileage is certainly more than 20 km per litre. I have a feeling that I can improve that once I get a hang of this car.
