Cultus aka Celerio AC is bad. All praise Lord Sanduki who charges you 15.3 lac for Cultus AGS in PK and giving you this Marvelous piece of poor engineering trash.

I do feel that when you push padle hard ac trips and then it backs to normal. AC is not that bad I think its due to when you push paddle hard then ac trips for that time. My brother who drives with heavy foot complains that ac is not good while I have noticed cooling is good when you drives normal.

I guess it has something to do with quantity of gas in cooling system, everyone should raise this problem at respective dealership and get the cooling gas checked up with proper tools and thermometer guage for optimal cooling before the harsh summer weather starts.

I have managed to locate a quick fix for the people who are facing ac problem.

Im sure you cant feel ac cooling car when you reach car on a hot day and car is already very hot from.the inside. The car would be very hot.

When this is the case switch on the ac and turn on FRESH AIR of the cabin. With ac on and blower speed on 4 the fresh air with ac will cool down the cabin. Once you feel noticeable temprature change switch fresh air back to cabin air and let the ac cool well enough it should be fine this way and you will literally feel the car cabin to cool and maintain chilly temprature.

I tried the above today and worked like a charm when i reached car after office my car was boiling.

And ofcourse, on your next visit to dealership also get the gas of cooling system checked.

The thing is this car creates vacum when you cloor doors with window closed. When one window is open and you close the car door it closes with touch of a finger but whem all windows are close and up and you close the car door it needs noticeable force to close or you gotta try again.

I will try this today and yes if car inside and outside is at boiling state then AC needs more power to cover up.
Fresh air option is good but this will also fetch dust with fresh air.

By the way which polish/wax or whatever is good to use for car interior ?

this car has a cabin filter, when you open fresh air the blower bring in fresh air which comes thru cabin air filter, make sure you clean or preferably replace cabin air filter behind glove box every 5000 km

i would suggest only use McGuire ultimate interior protectant/detailer.. you can see the cultus interior in my thread after pictures once the interior detailer is used.

the cultus dashboard gives dull grey black colour but when you use good detailer it gives a really nice deep black shade.

This is a useful suggestion. One more thing I often do is to open the windows and turn on the AC for a minute or two when the car is boiling inside. It takes the hot air outside and the cabin temperature becomes bearable. After that, the AC takes lesser time to cool the cabin when you close the windows.

but rolling down the windows is not practical for me as all four shades on windows need to be fixed after lol....only wish tints were allowed to some extent.

Yes, that is a problem with shades. I have a JDM with factory fitted tints on which I do this mostly.

Didn't any chillar (aka thulla aka warden) stop you and ask you why your windows are tinted, they are not allowed, they will be removed.....blah blah?

Once a traffic police guy stopped me in Lahore and asked if the paper is genuine. I was confused as I thought he is asking about registration papers, but said yes, and he let me go. Apart from that one time, nobody ever stopped me, neither in Lahore, nor in Islamabad or any other city that I have visited.

This suggestion is also good to roll down windows, we need to check with different options and share findings which works better for most of people but one point is we also need to consult with Suzuki, if there is something which Suzuki can do as quick fix.

some one also told me about turtle as well . Previously i had used formula 1 but that was just okay.
So Meguiars is better options for whole interior including dashboard as well as plastic material used in car interior?

Also Ultimate Interior Detailer and Ultimate protectant both are same ?

im sure one can find it of leppon or other brand for 300-400 rupees.

the dealership asking 3500 for cabin filter is absurd as civic cabin air filter is for 2000 rupees from dealership haha

ultimate protectant from meguires details and protects the interiors, it gives a very nice finish and gives a shiny finish dependant on your liking the more your rub it the more matt look it will give but best of all it protects it from scratches as these days new car dashboards are very prone to nail scratches.

Detailed the car today. Interior exterior and engine bay. Yesterday rain was a bit harsh on car. Engine bay had little splash marks so detailed it with clean damp microfibre Havent waxed it well properly. What is the mechanism of AGS while driving?
For example, if car is in auto mode, running in 5th gear and driver shifts the gear lever to manual, will car go to manual gear of corresponding speed and will there be any jerk?
What happens in same case from manual to auto shift?

Switching from manual to automatic or vice versa doesn't change gear number but if moving to automatic and speed isn't right for current gear, it will change as usual. I won't say jerky, but all gear changes are interrupted by a clutch which feels like momentarily losing power, just don't press accelerator harder and confuse AGS, instead let it do it's work.
