Cultus suspension is stiff to benefit handling, there is always a compromise between handling and comfort. If you go for more comfort them you have to compromise on handling and if you go for better handling then you have to compromise a little bit on comfort. A good suspension is that which is in balanced state. Previously auto makers were more focused on comfort but now due to improved roads the focus has shifted towards handling, this approach can be found in most modern cars. Cultus has top notch handling in the segment and reasonable comfort and you can't judge it by pressing it from the front, corolla can't be pressed easily from front but its suspension is softer.
AC, I have already mentioned in previous post that there is not proper separation/insulation between heater core and evaporator. In a hot day this is one of the big reasons that ac performs not well. You can block pipes coming to heater core from inside the bonnet with grip pliers.
