Can anyone guide me how to access the cultus spare tyre. I know its under cng cylinder but how to access it? Any one with pictures?

Pull this button like knob up and fold the seat forward. Do this for other side seat as well to make enough room for removing and putting back spare wheel.

No. What I meant while driving when you remove your hand from steering, does car start going towards right or left on its own?

Don't know exact price. It would be for 5000 - 6000.

Bhai go to Alignment shop & 1st check from there.
Simply going Right or Left may be due to:
Poor alignment, Worn tyre, Less tyre pressure etc.

If you have no severe noise issue then check these things 1st

Get check from Alignment shop and then monitor the difference after Wheel rotation+ Wheel Balancing +Wheel alignment

Manual Alignment will cost you Rs. 200 while computerized alignment may cost u from 350 - 800

Yes visited twice in last 3 months. He insists that need to replace ball joints or maybe repair would be an option if havent bèen repaired before. If replacement required then need to replace kenchi as ball joint alone cannot be replaced in cultus especially.

Oh yes a bit on right side....

Your rack and pinion is done. Changing it is the only solution. (The major symptoms are 1- "duug duug" noise when moving steering left or right while car is standing. 2- Play in steering. 3- Car pulling on any side.)

It can be repaired as well but believe me it won't last more than few hundred or a thousand kilometer and it will again start giving problem.

Do change the ball joints otherwise alignment issue won't be resolved fully. Ask alignment guy to check the strut. If any strut is bent due to an accident, car will keep pulling unless it is straightened out or changed.

Rack and pinion means control arm?

Well according to mechanic ball joints are fixed in cultus and cant be replaced. The whole kenchi will be replaced. Struts are weak.

rack and pinnon is like a 'comb' with teeths type which is responsible for steering function once you steer the car. ball joints are fixed in almost all cars and they can be easily repaired by 'pressing', re-greasing, and change of small boot. the important point here is that how good the press is made on it so that it gets FIXED inside. i have done it twice in my Liana and last time it was done in Dec 2016 on one side and still strong and soundless.

No i am not going to shahjee. I am looking a place which atleast on my route so i can drop and pick my car easily.

if you say, i can give you number of a person. call him, talk about your issue and prices. if found ok, drop your car to him. i do all my works with him and have sent alot of pakwheelers there.
