I am using sub standard Nasa for 10 months or more. Now i want to use this one so need yr suggestion.
Get under car and check if it is leaking oil. Do check that if car gives blue smoke. Blue smoke is the indication engine oil is burning in combustion chamber due to weak rings or leaking valve seals.
lol 2 years! Change coolant every time one go for radiator service no matter how good the coolant is. 1 year or 2 year is only for brand new cars. For old car change it after every 5 or 6 months if car is not reducing coolant at all.
I have used ZIC coolant and it is very good. It is a bit expensive though.
What price @ch.talal @saboor73 sahib?
And @ch.talal @saboor73 sb,How many bottles are required ?
depends whether you are using pre-diluted or concentrated. If using concentrated then pour 2 litre coolant + 2 litre water in cultus radiator. If using pre-diluted just pour 4 litres of that.
Which water? Tap water (non salty/non boring wala) chalay ga?
Thanks gonna use ZIC prediluted so 4 ltrs required.
Just want to know if a mild white/greyish smoke is a sign of blown gasket? Bcz this morning after a jump start i saw a mild whitish or maybe greyish (couldnt figureout exact color) smoke for some time. Also car threw some quantity of water from exhaust pipe while accelerating 3 to 4 times.
Blueish or greyish?
Sir i couldnt judge the exact color. I think it was higly likely whitish or greyish
Bhai why selling?i think you sre tired of the repair work of old cars?
Yes one of the reason.
I think you bought your cultus a year ago when i started using pakwheel you would post alot of repair work regarding your cultus but i think it wasn't in a good condition.I think you should go for a brand new car hassle free for about 5 years
Almost three years. Repair work done. Car is in smooth running. But some issues need to be consulted with experts here.
O nice best of luck for your sale brother!
Karachi's tap water is no no.
Gasket is blown only if you see radiator is reducing water and engine oil is polluted. Exhaust smoke does not tell anything about that. White smoke could be due to water vapors produced during combustion.
Thanks sir,Water is almost full in radiator and reservoir.
Can u tell me how to treat/stop these water vapors producing in combustion?
ok i attach a pic of this morning. you can see water on the tail pipe and a mild smoke. i feel the smoke color is a bit whitish or greyish. please tell if there is any cause of concern? i wanted to upload a video but cant.
