Yes, relays are mostly available in Rs. 50 -100 & Electrician usually takes 100 or 200 or 300 for their installation charges.

Talat bhai, that's the point we r discussing that why don't Toyota or Suzuki or Honda install so much relays. Here in Pakistan, when electrician do not able to repair stock system or could not find any "Original solution" then try this "Jugaar solution" by installing number of Relays that it will maintain steady voltage at least

In my personal opinion as well as ripped-off experience, if u want to be headache free, better keep your car to stock position(Do not install relay)

While filling tank, it gets air locked and starts throwing back fuel instead of letting it in. If it happens, ask the guy to slow down the speed of fuel entering into tank.

Hi cultus guru's i need help with my 05 carby cultus having rpm issues the RPM on AC stays at 1000 but sometimes drops to 800 and without AC the RPM stays at 1400 and sometimes goes above upto 1800 i am sure the vacuum pipes are messed up can any one please refer a expert cultus mechanic in Rawalpindi who can bring these vacuum pipes to factory settings? also the auto choke is not working.

I have cultus vxri 2008 model. Car was running smoothly but after once poor quality fuel car's pick was dropped and its started exhausting blue smoke. I replaced its rings now the car pick is fine but when i start its engine every morning it blows blue smoke to about 7km and after that it vanishes. Engine oil level is its normal position not even dropped to single drop. What should i do for that??? Should i use smoke treatment oil additive???

Did u not done engine cylinder head job when ur mechanic changed piston rings??
It seems ur valve stem seals r leaked.

Hi,

We are un-doing a manual to power windows conversion after 5 years of use in a 2008 Cultus in the family. The setup still works but It seems the power window motors have lived their life and would require repairing etc. to make the windows roll up and down respectfully.

Anyways, the setup is up for grabs. Will give away on a sensible offer. The rate for a Kabuli setup like this one is ~20-25k

Package includes:

a) 4 x Power Window Motors

Condition: 6/10 They have become slow but may be revived as claimed by electritians.

b) 1 x Master Control Switch
c) 3 x Slave switches

Condition: 8/10. All of them work nicely, a general cleaning/service shall do them good. Can also be used as replacement in Cultus VXL etc.

d) 4 x Door Padding

Condition: 6/10. The car has not been used with great care. They are useable but preferably after repair.

Nothing has been repaired while using it for ~ 5 years. Everything was installed as bought from a reliable source claiming it to be in a great nick and it sure did look like that.

Assalam o alaikum. He just checked head seals and told that they are okay. If they are leaked the oil level must go down if i am not wrong. Now the cause of smoke my mechanic mentions that it is unburnt engine oil in the cylincer of the car when it will burn completely all the smoke will vanish.

I am having Cultus 2014 and have queries, will be thankful if you help

1. What is difference on performace of Cultus on using Coolant as I have seen majority of peoples using water for radiator instead of coolant? I think previous owner of my cultus 2014 was also using water in radiator, so what you suggest now? Should I first go for radiator service then install coolant? ( No heating uptill now)

2. Joints of Diggi of my car are rusted so as its surrounding areas on roof under the margins of diggi, so should I go for paint straight away?

3. I want a USED good quality (reasonable price) video player for car to install in dashboard, can you suggest me any place in Karachi?

4. Does car tunning and service alongwith oil change from 3S differs in performance from the one done by local mechanics? Please answer after keeping difference of price bw 3S and local mechanics in mind

5. My job is near sea and my car is parked hardly 300 meters from sea, so can you suggest me tips to protect my car from rust?

coolant is used just for protection from rust buildup inside radiator and engine itself. as water do make rust with time - its natural. coolant should be with correct dilution with water.

for tuning - there is absolutely no term like this existing. what is done in so-called tuning? spark plug safai, air filter safai, tappet adjustment (needed maybe once in 10k kms) and thats all. maybe cleaning of throttle once in few months.
get hold of a local expert mechanic who can do it correctly inside your expense of 1k max. buy oil directly from Hyperstar or metro - % genuinr oil and filter too and give 100 rupee to any mechanic and he change it in front of your eyes. or buy SGO Premium from dealerships and have it changed yourself

regarding rust, bhai live with it. all cars/bikes parked near sea are bound to get heavily rusted.i dont find a way out of it. maybe a proper covering of thick top cover can lower rate of corrosions.

for video player - dont go for it as cultus's/ baleno's dashboards are not fit for video players. the place of screen is too low which makes it totally useless. screen is for cars which have eye length/height of space.

Taking advantage of this forum, I have one more question. I drive my cultus exclusively on CNG and its pick up is fine with AC on CNG. But during inclines/flyovers car becomes heavy, so instead of dropping gear, I just switch off AC button (with fan on) which makes its pick up better. I switch on AC again when I am on plain road. I want to ask, what is preferable way, shifting gears backward or reducing load my shutting off AC? Does switching on/off AC again and again effects engine?
