My cultus is having 2 wierd issues.
1) car jerks while maintaining rpm from 1000 to 1800 change fuel filter it's still there. Already used for injector cleaner twice and I'm running car on petrol also changed plug leads too no success.
2)This problem is not totally new and weird to me because only happens when I try race/floor my accelerator and clock speed and then want to change gears while pressing clutch RPM remains at 1500 never comes to 1000 until I completely stop my car and wait for while to reach 1000rpm. Car goes all ok when running it normally.
For that I have already cleaned throttle body and set the throttle position to factory settings. Some ch**tya mechanic is saying throttle body cut gayi need replacement also saying TPS is ok to us.

try cleaning iacv with carburetor cleaner and lube it with some atf afterwards

2 new things i noticed

• engine vibrates when releasing clutch slowly in 1st gear.
• tappet sound is increasing....does this engine require tappet setting?

or engine mounts

or low idle speed (if its carby)

can be clutch system too.

yes, efi does need tappet setting. also, service the iacv, if iacv works correct, it won't let engine drop rpm so fast

You need to jack the car up.

Remove engine shield... needs bent screwdriver

Then you need a ratchet + socket or spanner to undo the 2 bolts of the pulley.

One bolt loosens the belt, other holds the pulley.

You first loosen one bolt to release belt and then remove the one that holds pulley.

You take new bearing + old pulley to anyone with hydraulic press. I paid 50rs.

Reverse this.

I used car's own jack. But be very careful. It is diy grade

Now i will get waterproof synthetic greaee for longer bearing life. For later replacements.

It will be even better than lm47..
