the cover in my khyber is held by a hook, just have to pull it up and it comes off. corolla's dash is long enough that it doesn't need any cover. once some thieves broke into my dad's mehran by removing rear windshield but couldn't do anything about the lock (we had a russian padlock in it), they sat the car on fire in anger.
