It would be a better decision to reduce engine size of swift and launch the newer model. Celerio is not the solution for Pakistani market plus it's a smaller car.

Present version of Swift is already running on k12b which is way better than M13a, Its a 69kw, yes more power than 63kw 2nz-fe 1.3 corolla engine. Good thing is k12b is 1242 cc so unlike M13a which is over 1300 cc, it gets tax benefit if it comes here.

i totally agree swift must come with K12 i mean i don't mind fuel avg swift is a fast car in local market but "TAXES " make it bad for purchasing token transfer fee etc NTN etc if PS needs to survive and ditch mehran as their savior they need to improve their cars
i am also waiting for Celerio to launch it should replace cultus one more thing on long route celerio can be more efficient then WR as same engine and less wind resistance

Ever driven a k12b swift ? There is a reason that in most 4x4 or extreme performance Suzuki vehicals have m series engine (jimny,swift 4x4,sx4 etc) m series engine tends to pull better k are gear short to pull (work on high stress) plus the steel seleve make m series tougher than iron block engine

M series is old, all i know k series is new and suzuki has put lot of research on this one, just look at the specs hp n torque of this engine k10b k12b k10c k14 these are present engine, rest are history.

I have calculated price of 2013 swift jdm in pakistan if we import it like any other jdm, it turns out to be 16 to 17 lacks it was just 23k driven. Considering the price of vitz it can be a good car, pkd swift auto cost more than 15 after tax. Dont forget that its has auto air con, push start and air bags
