I am sorry that you guys kept waiting for the pictures.
Honestly, I lost all heart in this project after the vehicle turned out to be horrible with panel gaps, bad paint quality and interior. I didn't take any pictures of the finished abomination of a car it ended up being, hence there's nothing to post.
After that the car kept sitting outside my home for a couple of months and when I had to move late last year, I had to leave it at a mechanic so that he could sell it, where it deteriorated further.
The car eventually turned out to have documentation issues as well and became almost worthless. I ended up giving to a needy person in my family who used it as a pick-up. Haven't inquired about its health ever since.
I am not shy of admitting that this project was an utter waste of resources because I didn't have time or energy to invest in it. It coincided with a time in my career where I had to spend long hrs in office and working all time time. So any time I could find outside work had to be spent with my family to keep things going at home
.
I should have known that I never had the time or energy which is required to bring something up in top-notch condition. Mechanics, denters, painters etc are genuine cheaters by and large with absolutely no moral values. This project got hit by delays, lack of commitment and mostly by my desire to keep the costs manageable.
Even after that, it ended up consuming double the car's worth and when the end result was pathetic I just lost heart and took a pledge that I will not take-up any restoration project. Its not for me.
