Hey GD Guys Have You Checked Sprocket Size Of GD110?

Bro, I am attaching pictures from GD 110 parts manual. It is clearly mentioned engine sprocket has 14 teeth, but nothing is mentioned about the rear sprocket.

Thanks for sharing yes its clear front is 14t
and i guess rear must be above 40 as we know that GD has excellent acceleration
and it is said bigger sprocket at rear gives good acceleration either it would be 41t which
i highly expect or it would be like pridor 43t kindly do check out when chain cover is opened
for cleaning purpose or etc on some sprockets number is written
or else one need to count teeths which is bit diffcult job

Has anyone of you got his GD's tappets adjusted yet? I've been hearing engine noises lately which are normally indicative of lose tappets. I changed the engine oil recently, but the characteristic tappet noise is still there.

Please advise.

if its tappet noise and its too much than you should go to mechanic for tuning
as tappets are loose so in tuning problem should sort out but go to good mechanic

yes.. last thursday I went to Suzuki centre for tuning... and they adjusted tappets....

Salam all,

I have never used a bike before, due to my parents overprotection. But yes we all know that bikes are also safe until we make them unsafe. Well I recently moved to Islamabad for my post graduation and I am fedup of spending 8-10k per month on taxis. So now I planned to get a bike, many of my friends are already using different type of bikes. So I discussed with them to know their recommendation. 80% of them said that if u want to have a fancy bike which gives u entertaining ride then go for a CG 125. Initially I was planning to get a CG 125, but since I saw the GD 110 I am like gone crazy for it, especially the launch pic of CG 110 in red color.

I tried to get online reviews of that bike and until now I only found PW where people are genuinely sharing their experiences. though this bike is also launched in Philippines and Indonesia. All the comments I read here are praising this machine. Well as I am going to be a new biker I definitely cant compare b/w bike. So my question is should I experiment going for a GD 110?????? I don't want to regret after getting it. Can anyone explain the difference b/w the GD110 and CG 125.

people here are constantly saying kay GD 110 hamari roads pay kamyab nahin hai. but they are not giving any reason, abhi bike ko release hoay 1 year nahin hoa and they are speculating. Success story long time use kay baad pata chalti hai. Even baray baray navy kay aircraft career 5-10 years sea main trial kartay hain and then they become operational. Why are people judging the machine without giving it a trial. pehlay 2-3 years use karo then say kay its not successful. Mechanic to vitz kay liain kehtay thay kay fail hai. aaj koi poochay un sai kay vitz kahan chali gai hai. people bought vitz cheaper than mehran in initial days. 3 years un ko maintainance ki zaroorat hi nahin parhi aur jab tak vitz roads pay itni aa gain kay part khud hi import karwanay parhay.

I made my mind no CG 125 I will get a GD110 even if it fails in 3 years. I want to experiment with my first bike

Well if you this much love GD110 than go for it just remember after purchasing bike
don't take your bikes to local mechanics as they don't understand suzuki bikes
so always go to good suzuki mechanic for regular maintenance of bike

Brand new bike don't require much maintenance but it does requires regular maintenance
filter cleaning or if required replacement after every 2000km & adjustment of tappets
after every 2000km means tuning ( timing can be extended) & engine oil change every 1000km best recommended

It was 2nd tappet adjustment of my GD.. but I think k 1st time us ne sirf kaha tha kia kuch nahi tha.. bcoz ab tappet kerne k bad bike k pick me bhi farq parha hai or bike smooth bhi hogai hai or jo thora boht sound tha wo bhi khatam hogaya hai...

No.. I went Suzuki Centre last saturday.. and there was all GDs had same muffler...

CG 125 is a locally manufactured machine while GD 110 has been manufactured abroad (probably China or Thailand). Even if GD has been manufactured in China it complies with the Suzuki Int'l quality standards (just like the top-notch cell phones which are manufactured in China but carry the quality standards of their respective manufacturers).

A very important downside to GD is its fuel economy. My GD hardly does 40 - 45 km/L. So if fuel economy is your concern, don't go for it. However, if you want a good quality product and enjoy a smooth ride, GD is your pick.

Yesterday I saw a GD-110 in my area. I was purchasing some goods at a shop. A guy came and parked his GD and I started examining the machine. He bought the goods from the shop, got on his bike then he put it into gear without squeezing the clutch lever and set off :o and the bike made a very bad khatak sound. I was shocked that how could he do this to that bike. Dil chah raha hai ke uska peechay jao aur usko rok kar aik zoordar ghoosa lagaon uske muh pe.

well in the beginning when GD was just launching in Pakistan
i was thinking and some other fellows were also thinking same
we were expecting GD110 as clutch free bike by looking at its gear shifter design
but later on we found its not auto clutch bike

almost everybody is claiming that gd 110 has mad mileage and breaking is also not good the suspention height is also a problem so I was thinking that if the user of gd 110 install 18" rear tire it can resolve this problem the height of the bike will increase suspention problem will be gone the big tire with cover more distance in less rpm mileage will increase and 18" tire will provide more road grip breaking would also improve and if a user uses yb 100 rim and tire which size 2.50 18" while gd has 2.75 17 the pressure on engine will be reduce as the difference b/w 2.50 and 2.75 is about 2.5" that if the tire increase in 1" the would room 1.5" thus the pressure will be reduced
